Claudia had only been back a few days, but she knew that she was really, really tired of the cold weather again.

And so she'd implemented the idea she had on the ship: she'd turned a pair of scuba flippers into a gold-glitter dipped ~~nightmare of a~~ miniskirt, topping it off with a coconut bra, a Hawaiian print shirt, and some sandals that strapped all the way up to her knees. On anyone else it would look insane. On Claudia, it looked great.

Of course she was freezing as she opened up the library, but that didn't really bother her. It was for art, after all.

Indiana was on his way into his office and only half paying attention as he entered. "Good Morning, Cla-"

And that's when he saw Claudia's outfit. He stopped in mid-step and just sort of boggled.

Claudia was very used to that reaction. "Good morning, Doctor Jones!"

He blinked a few times wondering if he... nope. Outfit still there.

"Yes. Good morning," he said looking at Claudia as if she had gone completely mad. "Nice... outfit. Where did you get it from?"

"I made it," she chirped. "Isn't it cute?"

It was many things. Cute...probably wasn't on the list.

"That's certainly one way of putting it," Indiana tried to say diplomatically. "I'm assuming the inspiration was the cruise?"

She nodded. "Plus I was hoping that if I wore something cute and summery, the weather would change."

Claudia had quite a grasp on meteorology. Truly.

"That's some... mighty hopeful thoughts you have, Claudia," Indiana replied. "Though I doubt it's suddenly going to be warm tomorrow or next week. One can hope though, right?"

"Exactly!" Claudia said. "I'm sooooo tired of my winter stuff."

"Aren't you... cold in that outfit?" Indy asked.

Absolutely.

"Not really," she said with a smile.

"Are you sure?" he asked. "I can load you my coat."

And by giving the leather coat it would fix two things. One: Her being cold. Two: Cover up part of that outfit.

Oooh. Dilemma. Take the coat, avoid hypothermia, but ruin the lines of the outfit. Hmmm.

On the other hand, totally cute teacher guy.

"Okay!" she decided. "Thank you!"

"Here you go," Indiana said giving her his coat. "You can give it back to me at the end of the day. Last thing you need to do is get a cold."

"But then I'd have a reason not to go to class," Claudia said, snugging the coat around her shoulders. She was quite the scholar.

Indiana laughed. "You need to go to class, Claudia. Education is more important than you think. And I'm saying that because it is important and not just because I'm supposed to do that as a faculty member."

She smiled. "But I bet you get extra money if you remind us about it," she teased.

"Shh!" he said in hushed tones and holding a finger to his lips. "They'll take away my keys to the faculty lounge if they hear me talking."

She giggled. "Your secret's safe with me," she promised.
