Dana was nice today. She set out coffee for the students, figuring those who had to wake up for a second period class on the Monday after spring break might need a little jump-start, so this way they didn't fall asleep and she didn't have to drop a book on the desk near their head or something. That would be just embarrassing for all involved.

"Welcome back, everyone. It sounds like you all had a very interesting week, and hopefully everyone at the very least has sobered up by now," she began, "especially since I'm going easy on you. Let's face it, most of you are only going to be half-paying attention to me today anyway. So I'm breaking from the syllabus and instead giving you all a project due next week. Today we're going to be looking at some of the camera equipment that gets used.

"I have one here that you can check out and try out," she said, patting a camera affixed to a tripod. "You break it, you buy it, and you may have to get down and give me 20. Also, we have smaller, hand-held cameras that you're going to take with you for the week. Find and record some interesting footage for next week's class. When we work on editing, that's what we're going to use to splice things together. Get some action footage, interview someone, just bring me something. It doesn't need to be sports-related, either, so though if you bring me something that we can put in our broadcast, that's a bonus. The only rules are: don't use these in class without explicit permission as I don't want the other teachers to hate me, and do not- do not- use these for anything I'd have to take to the principal. There's a reason you got these after spring break."

She wished she could stop the delighted smile from taking over her face. "Um, no. Nothing happened!"

"Something happened," he said, matching her smile. "Tell me!"

"I had a good time, that's all!" Adora promised, going a little pink. "Better times simply require less audience."

That wasn't hard to decipher. At all. "Who'd you have a good time with?"

"I do not kiss and tell," she shook her head. "Or not kiss and tell, for that matter."

"You kissed someone!" he decided, laughing. "I can see right through you."]

He couldn't. He was guessing.

"I have kissed many people," Adora informed him. "Just not you."

That was not supposed to come out like that, no.

"...right, thanks for that," he said, frowning. "I wasn't asking if you'd kissed me."

"Of course you weren't! You would know," she said, only facepalming a little. "I said so just for tracking's sake."

Right, because you are a kissing whore Adora.

"You track your kisses?" Hannibal asked, confused. "Seriously?"

"No? That would be crazy?" Adora was feeling crazy. "So, what are you going to film this week?"

"I think you're lying but okay," he said. "You haven't kissed me. You can mark that on your tracking calendar. And I don't know."

Hannibal was wondering if yesterday was just going to shape his entire week.

She wasn't lying, but she had sort of kissed him. Oh, how she needed to talk to someone about this insanity.

"Perhaps the common rooms will offer something worth filming. Or the squirrels!"

"I might go to the mainland," he said, fiddling with the camera some. He'd be safer there. "See what I can find there."

"Does the mainland offer many interesting things?" Adora asked.

"Depends on what part you go to," he answered. "But generally, yeah, there's some good stuff over there."

"With your recommendation, I will have to try it out. How normal would you say it is to travel by horseback off island?"

"Uh, not very," he said apologetically. "I mean, I think you could but most of the mainland is cars and bikes and stuff."

"Ow, I think I'll skip the bikes," Adora said, hand immediately covering her scrape at the reminder of her fall. "I'm a little clumsy for your Earth transport."

"You could try roller skates," Hannibal suggested somewhat meanly because he was...a jackass. "I bet you'd do great on those."

"Really?" Adora asked brightly. "You know, I can't say no to trying something new. Where would I find roller skates?"

"Any department store probably," Hannibal answered. "They go on your feet and they're great exercise!"

"On my feet? And they roll?" Adora was trying to imagine this. "Do you use them for exercise?"

"There're wheels on them," he explained. "Four of them. It's kind of like having little cars on your feet."

It was not.

"Oh! Will I need a license?" Adora wondered.
