Into the Black Flight Club meeting (Tuesday evening)



Anakin and Padmé sat on the ramp of Padmé's ship. The smell of the pizza ordered for the Flight Club's first meeting wafted out and caused Anakin's stomach to rumble.

He practically vibrated with energy. Could be the possibility of flying again. Could be the excuse to spend more time with the Senator. Either way, he's in a fantastic mood.

Returning from her conversation with Shep, Beka waves at Rogue. "Hey. Haven't seen you for a few."

Rogue smiles at Beka. "Congratulations! I voted for you, you know." She shrugs. "I was home Saturday and Sunday, had to have my biweekly counselling session." The last two words are said with a bit of contempt; clearly, they aren't doing what they should. "Didn't get back until Monday morning before class."

"Now I know who to kill if I hate the job." Beka winks. "Thanks. I appreciate the support. Sorry about the counselling. Sounds..." She pulls a face. "Bad. Everything OK?"

"Eh." She shrugs. "It's okay, I mean, as okay as it can be. I'm just annoyed that there's not been any progress. The Professor has a new doctor that's working on--my problem, but they're so busy with new kids, that i'm kind of an afterthought." Rogue sighs. "I'm sure they'll figure it out eventually."

"Me too. It's just science, right? So there's an answer." She nudges Rogue with an elbow. "Pretty ship, isn't she?"

Beka strokes the ship's silken hull again. The metal's softer than any silk, nicer than anything she's ever owned. "It's Senator Amidala's ship, so someone probably does. But I think... metal like this? It doesn't need polishing. Unless she gets hurt."

Rogue looks it over. "It's really very beautiful." She reaches out to touch it. "It doesn't even seem to have any seams..."
