Into the Black Flight Club meeting (Tuesday evening)

Anakin and Padmé sat on the ramp of Padmé's ship. The smell of the pizza ordered for the Flight Club's first meeting wafted out and caused Anakin's stomach to rumble.

He practically vibrated with energy. Could be the possibility of flying again. Could be the excuse to spend more time with the Senator. Either way, he's in a fantastic mood.

Ivanova reaches for another slice, notices the fork, and raises an eyebrow at the neatness amongst the chaos of cheesy nirvana. She quickly swipes her hand across her pant leg before sticking out her hand. "Hi, I'm Ivanova. I don't think we've met."

Rogue realizes that wearing her best leather gloves probably wasn't the best idea. Black cotton, next time. She shakes Ivanova's hand, grabbing a napkin to wipe off the grease as soon as she lets go. "I'm Rogue. And I'd use my hands, but," she wiggles her gloved fingers, "I like the leather."

She takes another bite. "You're a pilot?"

Ivanova winces. "Sorry about the grease . . . In a manner of speaking. I can fly, and I do fly, but I usually just tell others where to fly." She smiles rather wryly. "People keep telling me I should keep my flight hours up, but commanding others is just so *fun*. Do you fly?"

"Don't worry about it. My fault for wearin' 'em anyway." Rogue smiles. "That does sound like fun. And I fly, as in, other people fly me around in the Blackbird. Other than that, I'm here to learn." She looks at the food. "And eat pizza."

Ivanova grins. "If you ever want some practise, swing on by the White Star. I parked her across town. The ship that *isn't* Solo's monolith.

Rogue smiles back. "Wow, that's so generous! Thanks. I promise I won't do it until I've got a hang of this business first."

Ivanova smiles. "It's my pleasure. If it were up to me that thing would probably rust to the ground. Drop by any time." She glances around. "Anyway, I have to be going. It was great meeting you. I'll see you around."
