Into the Black Flight Club meeting (Tuesday evening)

Anakin and Padmé sat on the ramp of Padmé's ship. The smell of the pizza ordered for the Flight Club's first meeting wafted out and caused Anakin's stomach to rumble.

He practically vibrated with energy. Could be the possibility of flying again. Could be the excuse to spend more time with the Senator. Either way, he's in a fantastic mood.

Not much, but I definitly know my way around a Prowler. Girl's gotta have a getaway vehicle, right?

Ivanova snickers, covering it with her hand. "I like the way you think." She sticks out her hand. "I don't think we've met. I'm Ivanova."

Chiana. ::grins and shakes your hand:: Gotta admit though, this one's a beauty, though the...the shininess seems a bit, I dunno, obvious?

"Not very stealthy, I'd grant that," Ivanova said. "And I wouldn't want to land it in any sketchy ports."

Frell, I'd be afraid to land it at *all* in case it got scratched or somethin', ya know? ::grins::

A fleeting image of a duct-tape patch on the mirror-smooth surface flits across Ivanova's mind and she starts snickering again. "Yeah . . . but think about the amount of space junk you'd have to fly through every day. Dust, debris, the occasional asteroid field . . ."

And imagine you ever got in a fight? You'd have to turn and run to avoid blast burns on her! ::is full out giggling now::

Ivanova laughs and imitates the pilot. "I surrender! I surrender! You scratched the finish! You monsters!"

"That'll *never* come out!!" Heh, oh this is too much fun. ::laughs::

Ivanova is actually giggling. "I know! I mean, it is a beautiful ship, just a little distractingly . . . shiny." She tries to squash it, but it bubbles out. "'Deploy the Really Big Floodlights! We'll burn their retinas out! Who's with me?'"

::waves back:: Hey Miss... er.. whatever it is that you won. ::grins:: Wouldn't miss it for the world, seems like cycles since I've been in space.

Beka grins. "Academic Affairs." Her eyes roll melodramatically. "We should fix that. Ya know, the not flying thing. Soon. Even though the Maru's not as pretty as this lady, she'll get us out of here."

::laughs:: Pretty only matters when it's standin' still. As long as the thing flies, I'm in.

"I can think of a few other times pretty matters. But then we're not talking about ships." She winks.

Mmm, that's a *whole* other conversation. ::smirks::

Beka snickers and leans in to whisper, "Whole lot of pretty around the High. Male and female."

Almost a requirement to get enrolled, you'd think. ::grins::

Beka cocks her head, as if considering. "If it's not, maybe it oughtta be." A slow wink, and then she grins. "Any mischief going on tonight? I'm bored of being good."

Yeah... don't really remember how we got outta there.. but that makes just about as much sense as...as the rest of it I guess. ::shrugs:: So how you been, handsome?

Grounded.

Stuck home night after night. And even though I slipped out Sunday, since then, it's been armed wookiee escort to and from campus to make sure I don't slip again.

On the cheery side, my grades are gonna be terrific.

And just because I'm stuck in doesn't mean people can't come by. Hank swung by today.
