Into the Black Flight Club meeting (Tuesday evening)

Anakin and Padmé sat on the ramp of Padmé's ship. The smell of the pizza ordered for the Flight Club's first meeting wafted out and caused Anakin's stomach to rumble.

He practically vibrated with energy. Could be the possibility of flying again. Could be the excuse to spend more time with the Senator. Either way, he's in a fantastic mood.

Ivanova wanders over towards the ship, waving vaguely to Han and admiring the clean lines of the craft, being careful to keep her greasy-pizza-fingers away. She immediately began calculating the tactical advantages and disadvantages of having your entire ship so shiny it blinds whatever is flying towards you.

Hey, I don't think I've met you. Jack Harkness. *sticks out hand*

Ivanova shakes the proffered hand firmly. "Ivanova. Susan Ivanova. Nice to meet you." She pauses a beat. "So . . . fly much?"

"Not as much as I'd like. Been planet-bound since I've been at Fandom High, sadly." He grins. "Saw the ship you came in on. She's a beauty. I've never seen tech like that."

Ivanova grins in response, fluffing with pride at her baby. "She is gorgeous. Sadly, not mine, just a loaner from my com - er, friend. Kinda an apology for making me miss school. I'd be happy to give you a tour any time. Just drop by and bang on the door."

[[Who doesn't want to hijack a White Star? Except I'd give it a paint job and rename it the Tie-Dye Star.]]

"I am so going to take you up on that." Jack waves and disappears back into the crowd, grabbing more pizza while he's at it.

Hey, Susan.

Missed you around.

Ivanova looks genuinely pleased to see him. "Hey, Han. Sorry I couldn't say goodbye. One moment I'm blowing up zombies - thanks for that cannon, by the way - and the next I'm being summoned home. What's new?"

Mac's teaching shop, that's new.
Homecoming was quite an event. We're still waiting for our picture.

Otherwise, it's just been classes as usual.

Ivanova shrugged. "It's too bad that I missed it. I hear that - what's the phrase? 'A good time was had by all'." She blinked. "Mac's back? His departure was the reason I moved out of the house. Well, that and it smelt of zombie. And teaching shop?" She considered. "I can see it."

Don't know about a good time. Heard tell of quite a few girls crying.

Zombie-stench is pretty much gone.

Ivanova almost snickers at the zombie comment, managing to keep a straight face. "Yeah, I noticed that." She shook her head. "I got home and tried to tell Garibaldi what I had been up to. I think he was about to offer me some nice drugs and a white padded room *before* I got to the zombies."

Ivanova swallows the last bite of crust and brushes off her hands. "Anyway, I should be going. Nice seeing you again. Dasvidanya."

He watches her mingle until his attention is caught by another familiar face.
