Ethics [Thursday, March 8, 2012, 1st period]

When Anakin swept into the classroom this morning, he was accompanied by a half dozen droid babies, all holding little stuffed Ewoks and glancing around the classroom with curious, if slightly dead, eyes.

"It's that time of year again," Anakin said, not even trying to hide his glee. "Ethics in practice. It's easy to decide on a code of action that you think will define your life--it's much different to enforce that on a small, sentient being. Thus the droid babies. For the next week, you and a partner--except for you, Miss McGill, and I apologize for that--will be parents to these droid babies. They are approximately six months old, and are crawling and able to understand--" if not exactly respond correctly to, "--the word no. You must be constantly vigilent to make sure they are well-fed, clean, sleeping correctly and not putting electronics in their mouths."

Anakin would never understand human babies' obsessions with chewing on wires.

"Oh, and there will be one more assignment this week. There will be an NPC a photographer next Monday to take you and your droid child's photograph, just to be absolutely sure that you haven't foisted your assignment off onto your partner and to give you the opportunity to take your droid into unfamiliar circumstances."

And because he and Jaye shouldn't be allowed to talk to each other. "Listen for your names and come pick up your assignment."

The Elements of Friendship, Thursday, Period 3

The Danger Shop was set up with a projector and a screen, as well as a giant, colorful movie theater snack stand offering all sorts of vegan snacks. Pinkie was there, sitting in front of the screen, looking grumpy. The students would find out why a moment later, when she sneezed hard enough to blow herself across the room.

"Sorry students -- HACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! -- Looks like I -- HACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! -- came down with a little -- HACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! -- cold. So today -- HAAAAA- oo, false alarm. Today we're going to watch a -- CHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! -- movie."

She'd managed to sneeze herself around the room to the projector, so she hit play on it.

"I found in a closet," she explained. "En -- HACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! -- joy!"

Life of the Sea, Thursday, Period 2

Summer had sent out an handwaved e-mail to her students to meet in the Danger Shop for today's class. The room was set up to resemble the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, in honor of Fandom's latest spring break destination.

Summer stood on the sandy beach at the edge of the water, where a boat was docked. "I thought today was as good as any for a glass-bottom boat trip, don't you think?"

She didn't expect a response but it was okay. "Think of today as an observation day. Feel free to take notes on what you see when we're out on the ocean. And ask as many questions as you'd like. But most important, have fun."

Superheroing 101, Thursday, Period 4

Today, the class met in the computer lab. "Alright, so I have a headache," Electroclash drawled from where she was slumped in a chair up front. Of course, anyone willing to bet it was more hangover than run of the mill headache would've been pretty right. Not that those two things were too far apart when it was her.

She waved a hand at the computers.

"Play some metaed of course omg games and we'll pretend it's educational." A pause. "And anyone who turns the volume on their computer too up too loud will immediately fail the course."

With that, she slumped even further down in her chair. Ugh.

[ocd up!]
