Library, Sunday

The last time Lee had been in the library, he'd been a completely different person, hell bent on punching books. Today, he was back to normal (or what normal for him constituted) and he was a lot less active. Any activity he'd do today would be limited to reading and shelving books.

He'd been tempted to bring the gift Adah had sent him to the library with him today both as decoration and because he was kind of stupidly fond of the thing. For a few moments upon first receiving it, he'd actually thought it was a heart (and was steeling himself to prevent any girly screams if it was a real heart) but decided this was better. In the end, he'd left it on his desk so he could come back to it after his shift.

He kind of wished he'd brought it. Oh well.

"Good Morning, Mr. Adama," Indy said coming into the main library area pushing a cart of books. "I have an assignment for you."

"Last week we had a visitor who thought it would be a good idea to train for a boxing match by hitting the books," Indiana said now piling the books in front of Lee. "And now a good deal of these bindings are broken. Since you weren't here last week, I'm going to ask that you work on getting these fixed up."

"Well he was very focused on his training," Indy remarked. "And he was a pretty big guy."

"Good man," Indy said. "Let me know if you have any questions."

Toby wandered into the library far less exuberant than usual. Also wearing much more clothing than usual.

He hopped onto the librarian's desk and sighed loudly.

Someone was sulking.

"Lee, remind me never to do that three minute dating thing ever again, okay? I am sick of the humiliation!" He was feeling a bit dramatic about the night before.

"Ohmigod, my first two dates were like, To. Die. For," Toby replied, truly believing that he could have gotten laid if the night had just ended right there.

"But then I got like, straight boys but whatever I'm used to that and then freaking Worf returned to ruin everything. Why am I so drawn to such assholes?"

"Ohmigod how did I not tell you?" Toby gasped. "Have a seat, it's story time." He patted the desktop.

"Okay, so like, the first week of the semester I was online looking for sex and met this guy who was like, really interested and we set a date. There was some confusion over the like, when and where, but we met up for a hook up and he was all 'let's go running first' and hey, I'm fit so I was all into getting worked up, but when I asked when we were gonna do it he freaked the hell out and changed his mind," Toby told him with animation.

"I dunno, I think I'm just not his type," Toby sighed. "But damn is he fine. All big and buff and dark. It sucks he thinks there's something wrong with me."

Buffy was back in the library this week, though as she didn't think it was too pressing an issue, she slept in. And now there were Klingon demons to research.

She totally did look at the top of the desk as she walked in, just to be sure she didn't have to threaten anyone this week.
