Library [02/11]

Sam was still thrown off from the weekend, and nearly overslept to the point of being late to open the library. Luckily, he was no stranger to a little early morning running.

Sam had brownies for Dean - the non-oregano kind, thank you very much - and hoped that he'd be better today than he'd been earlier in the week.

Dean showed up with a couple of burgers for each of them, tossing Sammy his bag of food as he sat down. "Those better not be the funny brownies."

"Yeah, right. Like I'd ever cook funny brownies," Sam said. "Hello to you too."

"Not that there's anything wrong with funny brownies," Dean said. "Just, y'know, in controlled conditions. Not the library. Though I know your thing about libraries..."

"I don't have a thing about libraries!" Sam said. "Once I did something dirty. That's it."

"Dude, you did something once because you had a thing for libraries and just couldn't resist anymore," Dean told him. "Plus, I'm practically willing to bet money that you'll be doing something again before everyone graduates."

"The more you say that, the less I want to," Sam pointed out.

"Yeah, right. Like you'd turn Peter down if he wanted to fulfill your fantasies in the stacks."

"My fantasy already got fulfilled," Sam said. "There's nothing else Peter needs to worry about doing."

"Uh huh."

"I'm not tempting fate again in not getting caught," Sam said. "Peter doesn't want to. It's not that important. There's dozens of reasons to not do anything here."

"Uh huh. But you still think it'd be hot."

"Sure, a little bit, I guess." That was a big understatement.

"That's little like you're short, right?"

Sam rolled his eyes. "What I think doesn't matter. All that matters is what Peter and I are going to do."

"What's that line from that old play? 'I think you doth protest too much.' You should stop protesting and doth get on with it."

"And let you get to say 'I told you so' for the rest of the semester? Not likely," Sam said. "Especially since Chuck might join you."

Dean tilted his head in confusion. "Bass wants you to have sex in the library?"

"He thinks dirty sex is the only kind," Sam explained. "I think he wants me to admit he's at least partly right. Which, no."

"Yeah, pretty much whatever he says about sex? Believe the opposite," Dean advised. "Actually that seems like good advice about anything he says."

"So then, you agree that sex shouldn't be naughty, and should only happen in bedrooms and other appropriate places?" Sam said, looking smug.

"Yeah, no," Dean said. "I just agree that dirty sex ain't the only kind."

"And that it's okay if Peter and I never have sex in the library?" Sam added.

"You're going ot have sex in the library," Dean said assuredly. "Trust me. I'm your big brother. I know these things."

Sam rolled his eyes, more determined than ever that they wouldn't. "You could have sex in the library. I'd cover for you," he said.
