Food Appreciation [Class Four, Period #3]

Marshall was just kind of staring at everybody when class started. He didn't look angry or anything. He was just staring, maybe looking a bit worried.

A little more staring.

A little more...

"I'M AFRAID TO TALK TO EVERYBODY TODAY," he said suddenly. "So far today I told a radio squirrel that if I were another squirrel I'd totally tap that and I told Ted that I didn't really mind his red cowboy boots!"

Ignore the fact that nobody here knew who Ted was.

"What if I start doing lecture and I suddenly start talking about how I think Kaylee's little accent is about the cutest thing I've ever heard and how that sometimes I want to ruffle Sam's hair because it looks fun?" Marshall's eyes widened. "Oh god, I'm doing it already!"

He pointed at the buffet table which had all sorts of moddable sandwiches and subs on them.

"Sandwiches! They're delicious and easy to make! Eat them!" Marshall said. "And for the love of god, someone save me from myself!"

"Not that easy, Sammy," Dean said. "Can't ignore a fact just because someone tells you to. Still going to be a fact."

Sam screwed his face up at the idea that that was a fact to Dean. "We're going to talk about this later, when we're not crazy," he said.

Sam's stubborn look might have given Dean a glimpse of how much he was going to try to make sure he couldn't help it, but he didn't say anything else.
