Management Theory [Tuesday, February 3, 4th period]

Yzma, as always, was ready to pace before the class as soon as they all arrived properly attired.

"One of the most important ways to prove your management potential," she overenunciated, "is by planning and correctly pulling off a party!"

She threw her hands into the air. On cue, confetti fell from the sky. She nodded her head. "Today, you will pair up and plan proper party!" She held out a hand. A party hat materialized out of nowhere. "In this hat, there are many suitable party themes. You must come up with the food you will serve, the attire your guests must wear, and most importantly, how to stop losers from attending!" She gazed around at the students. "You have fifteen minutes!"

Nice and reasonable of her.

"The rest of the time you will be working the rope line," which magically appeared in the corner when she pointed to it, full of people who all looked suspiciously like an emperor she used to work for, "explaining to the losers why they aren't on the list."

During a day when many students were compelled to tell the truth. This should be good.

"Those shirts are weird." Okay, Mac was fairly blunt, but she'd usually keep that thought to herself.

"Uh, but no crotch shots, that's good."

"They're awful," Turtle agreed with enthusiasm and an abandon that she was only vaguely aware of. "Especially when Jeff looks soooooo good all spruced up in a suit. And not half bad out of clothes entirely."

...wait, what?

"Uhhhh, so what'd you pick?"

Topic change!

Mac's eyes widened a little bit at the comment on Jeff's clotheslessness. Add that to list of 'things she never needed to hear'.

"Uh." She shook her head a moment before looking at her paper. "Kegger."

"The last party I went to like that ended up with my girlfriend biting a guy's ear off." Ew, definitely an overshare there, and she even winced herself.

"Eeeew," said Turtle, because what else could you say to that? "Okay, so, if we're planning a kegger, we're definitely enforcing a no head-butt to the crotch and no biting off ears policy. And not hiring Chad to enforce it."

It seemed a pretty good start so far.

"It was deserved ear biting!" she felt the need to clarify. Fortunately, she didn't go into it further than that.

"Um, but if they want to do that stuff, they can take it outside," Mac confirmed with a nod.

"Definitely outside," Turtle agreed with a nod, and then she sighed.

"This pick sucks," she admitted. "I hate keggers. I always thought they were just for people who were so boring and stupid that all they can think to do with themselves is go and drink beer and sleeze around because they think it's 'cool.'"

"You think I want to have to throw a party for people like that?" Mac shook her head. "That should be a criteria for our guest list. It can be a kegger for the interesting, clever and non-sleezy people."

"I like that idea," Turtle said with a nod. "We'd have to find a good bouncy. I'd suggest myself; I can kick skeezy people, no problemo. But a good hostess isn't going to be guarding the door, she'll be mingling."
