Management Theory [Tuesday, February 3, 4th period]

Yzma, as always, was ready to pace before the class as soon as they all arrived properly attired.

"One of the most important ways to prove your management potential," she overenunciated, "is by planning and correctly pulling off a party!"

She threw her hands into the air. On cue, confetti fell from the sky. She nodded her head. "Today, you will pair up and plan proper party!" She held out a hand. A party hat materialized out of nowhere. "In this hat, there are many suitable party themes. You must come up with the food you will serve, the attire your guests must wear, and most importantly, how to stop losers from attending!" She gazed around at the students. "You have fifteen minutes!"

Nice and reasonable of her.

"The rest of the time you will be working the rope line," which magically appeared in the corner when she pointed to it, full of people who all looked suspiciously like an emperor she used to work for, "explaining to the losers why they aren't on the list."

During a day when many students were compelled to tell the truth. This should be good.

"You've got confetti in your hair," because he could see it and thus couldn't shut up.

"Congratulations," Arthur snarled, glaring, "You have eyes."

It was anyone's guess whether that had anything to do with the magic about right now, or was just Arthur being Arthur.

"Of course I have eyes," he said back, those very same green eyes showing the horror at his response that he couldn't actually convey otherwise, "I just assumed you didn't know because otherwise, you're letting yourself look the idiot on purpose."

"You seem to have a death wish," he snapped. "I haven't cleared any of it because I'm convinced the mad old bat might see it as a reason to throw something worse at me, and murdering my professors may be looked upon unkindly by the queen."

"I don't so much have a death wish as a complete lack of fear about my own death due to a lack of belief in the worth of my life," he answered and oh unnamed god it was getting worse.

"Would you really murder one of your professors over looking a bit foolish for a while? If so, I'd avoid any classes with the one religion teacher as he painted his entire class blue the once.

"And I'm just going to go do the activity because I can't seem to make my mouth behave correctly right now so you'd best look out today because usually when something like this happens, it'll effect more than just one person and this is really very inconvenient."

Fleeing. There was, in fact, fleeing.

Arthur merely stared after him.

He managed to hold in the response bubbling in the back of his throat until Liir was out of earshot.

"Liir," he muttered, "You are a girl."
