Management Theory [Tuesday, February 3, 4th period]

Yzma, as always, was ready to pace before the class as soon as they all arrived properly attired.

"One of the most important ways to prove your management potential," she overenunciated, "is by planning and correctly pulling off a party!"

She threw her hands into the air. On cue, confetti fell from the sky. She nodded her head. "Today, you will pair up and plan proper party!" She held out a hand. A party hat materialized out of nowhere. "In this hat, there are many suitable party themes. You must come up with the food you will serve, the attire your guests must wear, and most importantly, how to stop losers from attending!" She gazed around at the students. "You have fifteen minutes!"

Nice and reasonable of her.

"The rest of the time you will be working the rope line," which magically appeared in the corner when she pointed to it, full of people who all looked suspiciously like an emperor she used to work for, "explaining to the losers why they aren't on the list."

During a day when many students were compelled to tell the truth. This should be good.

Jamie tried to peer over Romeo's shoulder. "What'd you get?"

"I don't know yet," Romeo pointed out as he unfolded it. "It looks as though I drew ... swingers."

"Well that figures," Jamie said scratching his head. "So should we get a bowl and have everyone throw their room keys in or should I make enough dupes to be a swing band?"

"I would normally say the sex one but the teacher frightens me," Romeo admitted. (Which was odd, he could swear he'd been trying to say something different.) "Go for the swing band. Can they play instruments?"

"I can play a few instruments but I suck at all of them," Jamie admitted honestly. "But for the terms of the class the Teacher is just going to have to deal with it. I think we're also going to need a bar and a dance floor to start. What else do we need?"
withoutverona: (kind of hating you)

"Snacks, vintage clothes for people who don't have them, a little Queen Mab to make the night more pleasant if anyone here sells it," Romeo listed off.

Jamie was already making duplicates and yelling out orders.

"You heard the man! Get us all of that! And no I don't know what Queen Mab is but get it anyway! We have fifteen minutes before that crazy woman turns us into a sheep or something and that's an experience I don't want to live through again!"

"My god, how can you talk to them that way?" Romeo said, undiplomatically. "They're still you, not manservants."

"I don't bear grudges against myself. Usually," Jamie said with a shrug. "Plus we're all in this for a common goal. I'm just adding encouragement."
