Yzma, as always, was ready to pace before the class as soon as they all arrived properly attired.

"One of the most important ways to prove your management potential," she overenunciated, "is by planning and correctly pulling off a party!"

She threw her hands into the air. On cue, confetti fell from the sky. She nodded her head. "Today, you will pair up and plan proper party!" She held out a hand. A party hat materialized out of nowhere. "In this hat, there are many suitable party themes. You must come up with the food you will serve, the attire your guests must wear, and most importantly, how to stop losers from attending!" She gazed around at the students. "You have fifteen minutes!"

Nice and reasonable of her.

"The rest of the time you will be working the rope line," which magically appeared in the corner when she pointed to it, full of people who all looked suspiciously like an emperor she used to work for, "explaining to the losers why they aren't on the list."

During a day when many students were compelled to tell the truth. This should be good.

Montagues could throw parties; the teacher was insane, but this was probably the best week yet for Romeo.

"Doesn't she know we just had parties?" Yurika asked, slipping up beside him with a grin. "Somehow, I doubt 'Superbowl' or 'Girlkissy' are in that hat of hers."

"Would that they were," he grinned, then lowered his voice to a murmur. "You looked like you enjoyed yourself, kissing girls."

"Why wouldn't I?" she asked impishly. "You know I don't discriminate, aijin, and there were some very nice kissers."

"Of course," he said, then burst out with, "anyofthembetterthanI am?"

"What?" Yurika looks at him like he's lost his mind, shaking her head. "Don't be stupid. It's not better, just different."

"Don't worry, I still like your kisses best," she teased, leaning in to brush her lips against his cheek. "Brooke, Angela, and Temari-san were very nice, but I prefer a Romeo."

"And I prefer a Yurika," he answered, reaching a hand around to her back. "I'll try not to be stupid. It's just hard to see you kiss other people, even if I know it's only for fun."

"I thought you didn't mind if I kissed girls," she replied, caught between amused and vexed. "You seemed to enjoy it yesterday, and you didn't object when I did the kissing booth."

"Don't go getting jealous now, koibito, it doesn't suit you."

"I enjoy watching it!" Romeo swore. "And I'm not jealous. But it makes me think of how you might kiss other people after we graduate and -- do we have to have this conversation right now?"

"You started it!" Yurika snapped, glaring slightly. "You know I love you, and you don't have anything to worry about."

"I'm not going to run off with a girl just because she's hot and a good kisser."

Damn, where did that come from?

"What if she was hot, a good kisser, and from Tokyo?" Romeo inquired, just to rub it in a little. "And I love you too."

"I love you, but I'm going to kill you," she sang sweetly under her breath, making sure no one else in the class was watching. Why the hell did she keep saying that? "I don't exactly go around falling in love with everyone I kiss, you know. You're a special exception to my 'no dating' rule."

"I like being a special exception!" Romeo said eagerly. "I just ... worry you'll find another one. Silly, really. And I think you've told me you love me more in the last five minutes than in the last month. I hardly mind, but do you feel all right?"

"I'm not saying it on purpose, it just keeps popping out!" Yurika covered her mouth with her hands, eyes wide.

It was like the singing, but worse.

"You can't stop saying you love me?" Romeo teased under his breath.

And tried very, very, very very hard not to laugh.

"No! I mean yes! I mean, yes, I love you, and no I can't stop talking and oh gods I think my internal monologue is broken today." One hand was slapped back over her mouth, and she used the other one to flip Romeo the bird.

Not. Funny.

Romeo laughed and leaned in to kiss the hand making the obscene gesture. "I love you more than I have ever loved anything in my entire life, you know. And I'm glad I get to hear it sometimes."

Yurika muttered something that might have been 'I love you too' or 'shoot me now' or anything in-between as she blushed.

"Stop that," she finally said, giggling as she tried to reclaim her hand. "Or you're going to get turned into a sheep or whatever by Yzma-san for flirting during class."

"Sweet, there's no peril for me in her fury."

Romeo was kinda dumb.

"I love you, but sometimes you're an idiot," she said, patting his arm. "Don't provoke the Witch, dear."
