Library; Monday [ 02/02 ].

While he wasn't exactly resembling members of the living dead anymore, Cal was still not in the best of health. He was sniffling, coughing, carrying a box of Kleenex under one arm and wielding one of those little bottles of antibacterial stuff in his other hand. He was pretty sure he wasn't contagious, but the antibacterial stuff just seemed like a necessary politeness.

He flopped into the chair behind the desk, tilted his head back, and groaned.

He was probably going to be like this all day.

Yup. Good and comfortable, although he wasn't even staring at the ceiling. He was just closing his eyes and....resting them. Just resting them. And occasionally sniffling.

Cal has at least made some movement. Instead of tilting his head back toward the ceiling, it was now resting on the desk.

Dinah bopped in at speed, and stopped when she saw how big the library was, and how trashed Cal looked. "Okay, I was going to ask for help, but now I'm wondering if that's a good plan?"

In response to that, Cal just let out a groan that sounded an awful lot like he looked. Instead, he just pointed, "Computers' over there. If that helps?"

"Totally helpful," Dinah assured him. "Go back to be suffering from whatever you've got."

Cal just let out a groan, sending Dinah his best, petulant pity me expression and did just that, laying his head back down on top of a volume of Poe.

Dinah snickered, patted his head, then bounced off to the computers to hopefully find out who this Elton guy was.

Turtle had a lift of references to cross-check from the computer lab (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/1559157.html?thread=128305781#t128305781) and didn't even pay attention to the Face-Spitter on her way in.

It was a library; how hard could it be?

Plus, he looked like death warmed over.

There was a stack of books forming on the desk from the books he hadn't gotten a chance to put away. It was very distinctly the Books that Cal Has Sneezed on Pile.

His chest was burning from coughing all yesterday; there was no way he was going to go out and smoke today, so Cal was still there during lunch.

And now it all became a matter of trying to figure out if he was well enough to go to art club, or if he should skip out on Claire (again; but she'd understand, right?) and just go take a nap.

Oh, man. New Rumor Gal was on tonight, too!

Dammit.
