Phys Ed: Week 4, Period 1 (Fri. 1/30)
The Danger Shop was a new take on the gymnasium this week, one half set up with a basketball court-sized ice rink and the other set up with mats and a large television screen. As soon as students had filed in and taken a place on the mats, Ronon began speaking from where he was hulking next to the TV. "Ice Skating. They say it's a sport, I say it's more like having an attack walking across the pond. But you guys get to try it."
"This film shows how professional partners are supposed to do it. At least half of you have powers, so I'm expecting you can manage to hold your own with skates. If not, there's a rail on the edge you can cling to." He cued up the TV to a scene from The Slashing Blade where the man and woman are learning to work together on the ice. "I know, the title's misleading, but that's Earth for ya. Now, get a uniform and get skating."

unlike his disgustingly Dutch munand the skates had looked a lot like weapons when he'd taken them. This hadn't been what he'd had in mind with physical education at all, but after the sheep last week he wasn't surprised. Instead, he decided to do this with care and figure out all the possibilities.That meant he found a spot at the very edge of the rink and awkwarded around for a little while. He wasn't used to his feet being so heavy, and he kept his eyes open for anyone else who might be around the rink.
