Coffee and snacks are near the back. Sign the roster and if you have not turned in a permission slip, signed by either a guardian or yourself, please do so. Those who do not go on the field trip will be required to write a 5 page research report on the different rates of decomposition in the human body. Emphasis will be placed on noting which variables affect those rates.

As for today, all we are doing is going over the necessary equipment and rules of conduct for the trip.

-Wear old clothes and sturdy shoes.
-Do not touch anything.
-Walk only in designated areas.
-Practical jokes will be punished by detention.

I will dispense bottles of decomp formula after class.

Phoebe looks around the room and when she sees Cole, she flashes a bright smile.

Belthazor crossed the room to take a seat by Phoebe. "Congratulations," he said, taking her hand and giving it a squeeze.

Phoebe squeezed his hand back.

"I still can't believe it."

[demonbelthazor]

"I can believe it," Belthazor said, giving Phoebe a quick kiss. "You'll be a great president. Want to go out tonight and celebrate?"

Phoebe smiled a Belthazor and nodded. "Definitely."

"Great," he said. "What time should I pick you up? Any idea where you want to go?"


[OOC: Is it supposed to be Phoebe's birthday, too?]

"No idea where to go...suggestions?"



((OOC: It wasn't going to be, but she's been getting so many birthday wishes I decided to go ahead and let i be the same day))

"Somewhere romantic," Belthazor said. "Do you want to stay close to school, or should I surprise you?" He grinned at her. "I have a birthday present for you, too."

Phoebe grins. "Surprise me.'

"I'll do that, then," Belthazor said. "What time should I come get you then?"

"8?"

[demonbelthazor]

"Works for me," he said, squeezing her hand again. "I'll pick you up at the attic at 8."

Phoebe winces.

"Uhmm... Cole? I've been staying in town lately." She looks at him. "I've been living with Jayne and Sheldon."

Cole looked at her, confused and dismayed. "What?"

[sensethevisions]

She stares him in the eye.

"Nothing has happened...but Jayne took me in after...after what happened."

[demonbelthazor]

"So you're going to move back to the attic now, right?" he asked.

[sensethevisions]

"It really bothers you that much?"

[demonbelthazor]

He looked around to make sure no one was paying much attention to them. "Yeah," he said. "I mean, the guy can barely keep his hands off you and you think I'd be okay with you living with him? How would you feel if I moved in with someone like Faith?"

Phoebe narrows her eyes at Cole and her expression is hurt.

"Jayne is one of my best friends and he is very imporant to me. He would never do anything to take advantage of he situation---and he has had plenty of times to do so."

"Would you like it better if I just didn't care then? What about how I feel?"

[sensethevisions]

"If I didn't care how you feel we wouldn't be having this conversation right now." Phoebe is trying to stay calm. "If you lived with Faith, I would trust you not to do anything to betray my love for you."

"Sure. Whatever," he said sullenly, his tone making it clear how hurt and unhappy he is. He looked away, resting his head in his hands. "I'll see you at eight then," he muttered.

Phoebe is feeling miserable. She and Cole had just gotten back together and they were already arguing about things. She doesn't understand why Cole thinks she has to choose between her love for him and her friendship with Jayne. She runs a hand through her hair, trying to think of something to say to erase Cole's pain.

"Cole...you have me and my love. No one else has that."

Jealousy was a new thing for him, and he didn't know how to handle it. "I don't trust him," he said. "And I want you closer to me. Shouldn't the president of the school being living on campus anyway?"
