Young Entrepreneurs; Monday, Period 6 [ 01/26 ].

The classroom was set up as usually, with the desks pushed together to create a table for everyone to sit around, with doughnuts and coffee available for everyone, and hopefully maybe even some pie if Ned was on the ball about it. She waited until everyone got in before starting.

"Entrepreneurship," she began, "is all about making money. Simple and straight. The way to make money, however, is by providing either a product or a service, or perhaps even both, that people are interested in, can get excited about, and want to get their hands on. One of the things YA focus on each semester is doing just that: offering a product or service to our fellow students and making money off of it. Last semester, we kind of sort of did some tent things; they went over okay. Today, we're going to have a meeting and discuss possible ideas on what our big project can be. Ideas? Thoughts? What's something that Fandom could need that only Young Entrepreneurs can give them? Nothing final needs to be decided today; we'll just throw around ideas today, and see what our brainstorming creates."

"These are excellent donuts," Alice confided with a grin. "Also, class today had cookies with bacon in them. I didn't sample any, but the very idea put me off lunch."

"Sexual education," Alice said, in a low voice. There was a spot of color on her cheeks, as well. "Though the cookies had little to do with the lecture."

Which was probably all for the best.

"We shook hands with one another and exchanged unpleasant diseases," she said solemnly. "The cookies were just there for eating, while we did so."
