Young Entrepreneurs; Monday, Period 6 [ 01/26 ].

The classroom was set up as usually, with the desks pushed together to create a table for everyone to sit around, with doughnuts and coffee available for everyone, and hopefully maybe even some pie if Ned was on the ball about it. She waited until everyone got in before starting.

"Entrepreneurship," she began, "is all about making money. Simple and straight. The way to make money, however, is by providing either a product or a service, or perhaps even both, that people are interested in, can get excited about, and want to get their hands on. One of the things YA focus on each semester is doing just that: offering a product or service to our fellow students and making money off of it. Last semester, we kind of sort of did some tent things; they went over okay. Today, we're going to have a meeting and discuss possible ideas on what our big project can be. Ideas? Thoughts? What's something that Fandom could need that only Young Entrepreneurs can give them? Nothing final needs to be decided today; we'll just throw around ideas today, and see what our brainstorming creates."

Leto picked up a donut and examined it before taking a bite. He didn't expect it to be poisoned, but it looked a little odd.

He looked up and gave her a warm smile. "They don't. But I'm sure they are quite edible. I was introduced to ice cream the other day and survived." Instinctively, because she was someone he cared about, he reached out and squeezed her shoulder.

Ned had two pies, as promised. One was apple, one was lemon meringue and both were still warm as he'd baked them between his class and the club. They were wrapped and ready to go.

He was going to have to make one for himself when he got home. Pies smelled good.

"Hello, Ned," Leto said. "Is that the pies?"

"Hey, Leto," Ned said and nodded. "These are them. I baked them earlier today so they're still warm and fresh."

"You really like pie," he said and snickered. "Unless there's coconut in them. Which there isn't."

Alice was not a terribly big fan of coffee, so she was going to compensate by devouring some donuts.

Quite kind of her, really.

"These are excellent donuts," Alice confided with a grin. "Also, class today had cookies with bacon in them. I didn't sample any, but the very idea put me off lunch."

"...weirdness preparation kits?" Ned suggested. "For gremlin bites, sudden days in your underwear, power outages, sudden days as the opposite gender?"

"True." Ned frowned. "I'm surprised this island hasn't driven people to a place with rubber walls. It's weird."

There was a Deadpool there! And he was completely paying attention. With coffee.

Ooo, a penny!
