Always excited for another semester of YA, Turtle had the classroom all set up for the meeting, desks pushed together into a long sort of business table. Donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate for available for snacking, and the table was littered with arts and crafty stuff: paper, scissors, markers, colored pencils, stickers, and glitter. Somehow, there was always glitter, even when Turtle went out of her way to not include glitter. Go figure.

Either way, Turtle sat at the end of the table, waiting for everyone to get there, and then she went into her introductory schpiel. "Welcome to this semester's meeting of Young Entrepreneurs! I'm sure you all know me; I'm Turtle Wexler. I started this club forever ago, and am a young entrepreneur myself, as I co-own Turtle & Canary here on Fandom Island and soon to be in London!" There was a small bounce for that. "But, anyway, you all might not know each other and, even if you do, re-introductions still aren't a bad idea. For our first meeting, we're just going to make some very simple, fun, clearly not-official --that comes later-- business cards that represent who we are and why we're here. Take a piece of paper, cut out a nice size for a card, and then put on it anything you think might represent you as a member of YA, and then we'll go around and talk about it! But, remember, one of the key points about being an entrepreneur is that you know how to sell yourself! Sell us on your introduction on why we should be interested in you."

"This is my business card," he said, showing off what he'd made. "And, like the card says, my name's Ned and I sort of bake pies a lot. Most people know that, some don't. But, it's like my own really special talent. So, there's a pie in the middle of the card and it's bordered red because that's bright and eye catching. And can represent strawberries which can go in pies."

Ned was all about the pie.

"Red," Turtle informed Ned with a little bit of a grin, "is also a color that's said to induce subconscious hunger in people, so nice choice! It's good to have you back in the club, Ned."

Even if she was left wondering if that whole phone call about her in her underwear was just the phones messing up or something else entirely.

"Oh, yeah?" He peered at the card for a moment, trying to see if he'd get hungry. Well, he was hungry but he might have come to the club hungry. He didn't know. "So, I should use red things more often. And have pies around."

Poor Ned was in repression mode. Maybe yesterday was a dream. Dreaaaaaaaam.

"It's always good to have pies around," Turtle agreed, with a bobbing head. She was happy for that in; she wanted to say something, but didn't want to get annoying, what with how she badgered Ned for pies at the fair, too.

"Nope," she added, for good measure, "can never have too many pies around."

"I can bring some next time," he volunteered easily. "A few. I need to start baking more anyway."

Turtle fought back the little victorious fist pump at that.

"I think that'd be great, Ned!"

"You make good pies, Ned?" Leto asked.

"Well, I think so," Ned said, nodding. "I mean, some people might think they stink but I think they're pretty good."

"My roommate has been complaining about the food here," Leto said. "He might be interested in good pies."

"Who's your roommate?" Ned asked curiously. "I haven't met anyone complaining about the food yet."

"Arthur Pendragon," Leto told him with a small smile.

"I haven't met him," Ned said, "but that's not surprising since I'm not all that socialable. You think he might like some pies?"

"I think he might," Leto said, "Or so I hope. He lives off my fried fruit at the moment."

"Oh, that sounds...dull," Ned said gently. "Has he told you what's wrong with the food here?"

"He hasn't been that specific," Leto admitted.

"Has he seen you eat any food from here?" Ned asked.

[No prob!]

"No," Leto said. "He claimed that he found cheeseburgers acceptable and bemoaned the lack of bread."

"He's going to run out of food fast if he refuses to eat the stuff that's here," Ned said.

"Yes, and I will run out of dried fruit." Leto smiled. "So what are your favourite pies?"

"Apple's my favorite," he answered, "but I like lemon meringue too."

"So, what do I do to get one of those each for my roommate?" Leto asked.

"Just let me know when you'd need them by and I can make them for you," Ned said. "Maybe bring them next meeting and you can take them back to your room?"

"That would surely work," Leto said. He should have enough dried fruit for Arthur not to starve.

"Sounds like a deal," Ned decided. "Two pies for you next week. I'll make sure they're good."

"Thank you." Leto looked clearly pleased about this.
