"Now, be polite to your teachers, they've worked very hard to teach you these important lessons, mmkay?"

"You should've worn the tutu," Rikku grinned. "I had to go to work like this. I mean, I love this outfit, it's just not really work-appropriate. At least I'm not in my underwear."

There was really a huge difference, between a bikini-miniskirt combo and her underwear. A lot.

"This is weird, just ... all being half-naked. In public like this, I mean."

"You figure?" Reno took another look around, and then shrugged. "I think I'm gettin' so used to the weird, I hardly notice this kinda junk anymore, yo. I dunno what I'm gonna do after grad. The normal is gonna freakin' weird."

Well. As normal as Reno's life ever did get, anyhow.

"Who says we go somewhere normal?" Rikku shrugged. "That sounds boring, to me. You saying you don't think we can find some adventures waiting for us? Because I do. I have way more faith in us than that."

"Adventures that involve the clothes takin' off on us?" Reno sounded perhaps a wee bit skeptical, at that. "But hey, if you're sayin' we get set up with some place that lets us bat on junk, I'm good with that, yo. I need my exercise."

"Okay, probably not the clothes thing," she agreed with a shrug. "But somewhere where there's more stuff to fight, and some kinda purpose. Stuff to be doing, you know? Stuff that matters."

She was oddly serious, for once. Hard to feel like a Guardian with nothing to protect.

"Besides," she leered. "If you need your clothes ripped off in public, I mean. All you had to do was ask."

"I'd ask now, but there ain't much left for you to take, zoto." Reno gestured toward his boxers and grinned a little. "We'd get our asses kicked outta here, and then we'd have to figure out what we're doin' with ourselves a few months early, zoto."
