School Assembly, Friday After The Club Fair

"Gooooood morning kids! Welcome to our very special episode about the perils of drug use," Deadpool said, far too chipper about this whole thing. Oh, he was positively bouncing on the stage of the auditorium here.

"Now, be polite to your teachers, they've worked very hard to teach you these important lessons, mmkay?"

"I'm washing the carpet this weekend," Dinah said, which kind of answered that question. "Chad's side is better, though. We had the screen up. And newspaper down. It could've been worse?" She grinned. "So what have you been doing?"

"Pretty good," Tony said. "Thamaturgy class yesterday was fun. We had to pick a single spell and then use it in three different scenarios."

"Thaumaturgy." Dinah tilted her head. "So what kind of magic is that? And what kind of scenarios?"

"It's kinda a general magic-working class," Tony said. "We had to stop a purse snatcher, get medical supplies during a battle and manuever past an overly chatty woman at a party."

"Hunh. How does magic work on the last one?" Dinah asked, wondering.

"I didn't use magic for that one," Tony admitted. "Probably depends on the spell you had. But I think not using magic was part of the lesson, too."

"Cooool." Dinah grinned a little. "I'm liking Making a TV Show. And Health Ed, is, well. Health Ed." She shrugged. "Movie Appreciation's my fave, I think." No least because of Mr. Dex's arms. Woo.

"Plus it's got the best T.A.," Tony grinned.

"Who, the guy who hosts the Darkest Night evenings?" She grinned at him, then elbowed his side. "He's okay."

Tony grinned back. "You missed it this week! It wasn't quite as bad as last week's."

"I got caught up playing with Camille, and spaced it. Next week for sure. I mean, aside from Laundry Revolt Week, how often do you get to see that many shirtless guys?" She looked around the room. "If I weren't cold and a fashion disaster, I'd be all in favor of this."

"True," Tony said. "Though there's some people I'd rather not see shirtless." He was looking at the vice-principal.

Dinah got a kind of horrified look, then squinched her eyes shut. "Did you listen to Radio last night? Euw."

"No," Tony said. "Do I want to know?"

"I seriously doubt it. I don't want to know." She shook her head, then asked, "Are there really vampires?"

"...was there something about Professor Deadpool and a vampire?" Tony asked. He really, really, really didn't need the mental image of Henry putting the bite on the vice-principal.

"No! Unless the mayor's a vampire." Dinah facepalmed a little. "Sorry. Segues needed. I was thinking of Darkest Night, and... uh. Yeah."

Tony shrugged. "I guess if there's aliens, anything's possible. I know Mason Reed's not a vampire, though."

"What is he like?" Dinah asked, glad to be finding something to get the bad bad images of Vice-Principal Deadpool and whoever the Mayor was out of her head.

"He's kind of-" Tony paused, trying to figure a way to say it diplomatically. "Well. He's an actor."

"Ohhh." Dinah shook her head mock-sadly. "Too bad. Is whathisname, the second lead, an 'actor' too?"

"Lee Nicholas," Tony said without having to think about it. A slight flush came to his cheeks at the name. "Nah, he's cool."

"Really?" Dinah peered at Tony, and smiled. "That's good. Are you going to get to work on the show again, do you think?"

"Depends if it gets renewed," Tony smiled. "But I'd still be working there if I wasn't underage, so, maybe."

"So we have to watch Darkest Night, so you'll have a job."
