The Club Fair; Gym; Friday Afternoon [ 01/16 ].

Never one to shy away from getting her hands dirty in the tedious work of helping a student body run nice and smooth not dirty, Turtle had been very eager to help set up the club fair again this semester, putting up all the signs and posters and little treats on Westing Paper Products. The Club Schedule was very prominently displayed were everyone could see it before disappearing into the small maze of tables filling in the gym.

That, and it also helped her hold off the inevitable moment of seeing how this whole laundry strike thing was really effecting Jeff. Ahhhh, manual labor, the true opiate of the work-addicted masses.

Plop a seat in the bleachers or drift around in between checking out clubs. People watching, after all, is always interesting, especially when those people might be down clothing, and there's plenty of moddable snacks to nibble on.

Angela was officially down to the knee-length leggings she'd been wearing under her dress yesterday, and a sweatshirt at least two sizes too large from her that she'd found in her closet, presumably obtained from a former boyfriend (or possibly one of Hannibal's in the wrong place, honestly it wasn't something she'd paid much attention to).

All these clothing issues would be on the day she had a lot of reasons to leave her room, wouldn't it? So, she was here and mingling (since she might as well be) while picking at some of the nibbly bits.

He had to go to this Club Fair, Leto decided, if only because it might serve as distraction from the dangers of the washing machines. He wasn't too concerned by the lack of clean shirts, but found himself glancing over his shoulder a little too often and keeping his hand on his crys knife.

"Hi Leto! How are you doing?" asked Lion-o. He was entirely way too cheerful, but that may be due to his freshly-laundered clothing. Having a snarf had turned out to be very useful this week.

"They seem to be plotting a revolt," Leto said, nodding. "I have talked to the principal about it and she insists she has the matter under control." There was a hint in his voice that he wasn't completely convinced about that yet.

Compared to some, Mac was doing quite well by this laundry strike. She still had jeans, and she'd found a jacket. Between the two, she was covered, and that was really all that was important to her when it came to fashion.

She was around, and wandering between the club tables.

Running a clothing shop was a good thing.

Claire was on her way back from getting a drink of water when she noticed Penelope in the bleachers. "Oh!" she called. "Uh. Hi!"

No, she hadn't quite figured out how to broach the topic of Cal visiting.

Adora was coping with her diminishing wardrobe much better than she might have expected two weeks ago. She didn't know what clubs might be appropriate for her, but she was interested and hoped to find something that would suit her needs.

Jack was not happy. All he had left were boxers and tank tops, and was trying to keep warm by eating the snacks.

Alice was determined to go to the club fair.

This determination did not waver when she entered the club fair and promptly lost all of her clothing.

Very well. She would attend the club fair in her underthings, and scowl very darkly at anyone who noticed that fact.

Priestly pulled off his army jacket -- revealing that he was wearing three layers of t-shirts underneath, the top most being his "Tip me or DIE" shirt -- and held it out.

Alice nearly dove for the coat. "Oh, my goodness, you are a life-saver," she exclaimed, pulling it on quickly. "I sincerely hope you won't freeze, with out it, and I'll return it to you some time, when the infernal appliances return the clothes I was wearing this morning. Or any of the other clothes they've pilfered. I've half a mind to start smashing them and see if blouses fall out."
