Library [01/14]

Sam had managed to get real coffee today, so he wasn't quite as annoyed by the fact that he was slowly running out of clean clothes. In order to make sure he didn't end up with nothing to wear, he'd started rationing his clean clothes and ~~*gasp*~~ was only wearing a t-shirt and jeans today. It felt strange to only be in one layer, but he could deal for the time being.

Sam got himself settled, and finished his coffee as he made sure there were no overdue books.

Sam did a quick check of his e-mail before opening The Sims and checking on all of his houses. It felt a little weird to have Dean and Alec still living together, but he didn't feel like changing anything.

Sam made his way through the stacks, casually checking for books that were out of place.

The library was closed for lunch to everyone except Dr. Jones, the other aides, and Dean.

Sam was back at the desk with a book, reading quietly for the moment.

Sam took a quick sweep through the library to make sure everything was clean before he had to head out.

Woo, hump day!

Dean had headed into town and got a bunch of fried diner food which he brought with him when he came in and took his usual seat and put the bag down between them. "Hope you're hungry."

When Sam peered into the bag and saw how much food Dean had brought, his first instinct was to break out the bitchface. But then he wondered if, in some strange way, this was a Dean-ish effort to take care of him. "Tell me half of this is yours?" he finally said.

"Like I'm going to sit here and watch you eat without eating myself."

"Can more than half of this be yours?" Sam asked.

Dean rolled his eyes. "Just eat, Sammy."

"You didn't have to bring so much," Sam said, letting out one more protest before digging into the food.

"Yeah, I did," Dean said grabbing some for himself. "So did I tell you I called Alec the other day?"

"No, you didn't. How's he doing?" Sam asked.

"Seems to be." He smirked. "He answered the phone like some representative for Hunters R Us. Seems to be getting right into it."

Sam laughed. "I'm sure Bobby's having a great time dealing with him."

"Apparently there's been lots of obstacle courses through the scrapyard."

Sam couldn't help but imagine Bobby setting something like that up, and it made him laugh even more. "Okay, so he really is having fun with Alec. That's awesome."

"Yeah. Alec seems to be settled right in. And with Bobby as a teacher, he's going to be a helluva hunter by the time I graduate here."

The evil G-word made Sam's smile falter a little, but he tried to cover it. "He might be good enough that I really will trust him to watch your back," he said.

"Hey, he exorcised your ass," Dean said.

"He hit me with a poker," Sam replied. "That's not the same as a full exorcism."

"It got the job done, didn't it? And after a few months with Bobby, I'll be surprised if he can't rattle off five different exorcisms from memory."

Peter came in and looked around.
