BWI Airport, Portalocity Port, Saturday Morning

Spirit's ride to the island had been settled and Adora was trying very hard not to be nervous while she waited for the Fandom transport to arrive. Looking out the airport window, Adora realized she'd never seen so many fleets of vehicles in all her life that weren't involved in some sort of insurrection, and found herself desperately hoping her mother was right about this Earth place being safe from the Horde.

Just the thought of her family calmed Adora and she instinctively reached to touch the Sword of Protection where it was hidden by her hair and clothing, feeling that no matter where she was, she always had a way to contact the people she loved.

Now if only she knew for sure that this room marked "Fandom High" was really where she needed to be. Adora paced the large space as she waited, thinking she couldn't possibly be the only new student journeying to campus in this manner.

[OOC: There is wee ocd coming ready!!]

"I'll never say no to a brownie," Claudia said with a grin. "I'm Claudia."

"Dinah," she said, handing over one of Alfred's specials, and taking a handful of M&M's. "I kind of love your outfit. Also, it makes me hope that this place will be okay, that no one is wearing a uniform yet."

"Cute mohawk boy and I were talking about that," Claudia said. "I think it's against the law to take away our individuality and stuff."

No it wasn't.

"It should be, even if it isn't. We could totally protest if they try to make us wear plaid," Dinah agreed, popping a green M&M in her mouth. "And he is cute, isn't he? There's a *lot* of cute guys in this group," she added, sneaking looks over at Zayne and Emmett as well as Priestley.

"The one with the robe that needs some serious help with color? I think he's on drugs," Claudia hissed.

"Really?" Dinah blinked, and snuck another look at Zayne. "I thought he was in a cult, maybe. Or something. Why, what'd he say?"

"That he's from another 'galaxy'," Claudia said, using air quotes. "How is that not 'I'm high?'"

Dinah's eyebrows went up at this, and she said, "He mentioned 'galaxy' to me too, but I thought that was, you know. Bible-chat. Maybe he's just a little off?" She gave him a wistful look. It would be sad if all the cute guys were crazy. "Maybe they sent him here to deprogram him?"

"Oh, and I can save him! It'll be like a soap opera!"

Way to share, Claudia.

Dinah choked on an M&M. "Okay, now you have to 'splain how."

"Well, on soap operas," Claudia said, "don't people get deprogrammed when they get hit with something heavy like a rock or a bookshelf or a car?"

Dinah paused, considering this, and said, "I think mostly they get amnesia. So, on the one hand, good. On the other hand, uber-bad." She gave Claudia a raised eyebrow, fairly certain the other girl was kidding... mostly. "Also, ow!"

"Oh, that kind of stuff only takes a couple days to wear off unless the actor's in contract negotiations," Claudia assured her.
