Flight Club [Flight Shed, 2pm]

It was their last club meeting before the break and, with finals still ongoing, Gavin figured a nice, light meeting would probably be for the best.

"Hey everyone," Gavin said, nodding. "Hope finals are going well for you all. We're almost through them and then we get a nice break. Anyway, it's going to be a light, choose your poison kind of day. You can hop into the sim if you want and fly around, release some stress or you can sit and chat, eat cookies and stuff and take the time to unwind if you've already had some finals."

He nodded to the spread of ~~moddable~~ snacks and drinks.

"Thanks for coming out and I hope to see you all back here next year. We'll be getting a little more in depth into the flying machines of you all so that'll be fun. Until then, good luck on finals and have a good holiday."

Take it easy today!

Yeah, there was no flying happening for John today. However, he was very interested in the snacks on the table. He wondered if it would be rude to hop up there...

Gavin eyed the...bunny.

"Um."

If Gavin didn't know who the bunny was, John might actually be in luck with scoring some food and drink. He tilted his head to the side and lowered one ear to make himself as adorable as possible.

"Awww."

Gavin wasn't able to resist bunny cuteness, dammit.

"Are you a real bunny or a student? Or a teacher?"

Don't mind Jaina. She'd just be in the corner. Stalking a bug.

"Hey, Jaina," Ben said casually as he passed the kitty.

She twitched her head slightly in acknowlegement, not taking her eyes off the bug. Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever taking her eyes off the- Attackattackattack!

And when she opened her paws, she had no idea where it had gone. Foiled again!

Momoko was absolutely sure they were students, but she couldn't help staring at the bunny and the kitten. She was also sure she should not cuddle said fellow students, no matter how adorable they were.

Jump on in and fly off some tension!

Ben might have to be forcibly removed from the sim, yeah. He was blowing off a lot of tension.

Anemone programmed the sim for the two-seater Terminus typeR606 (http://www.mahq.net/mecha/eureka7/eureka7-tv/r606.htm), in case anyone wanted to ride along while she ran a few maneuvers.

Momoko caught sight of the program being set up and quickly stepped closer, very excited. "Ah! It's a mecha! I've never seen this kind before; it looks fast but it has a funny head. Have you flown it before? It is hard to pilot?"

"A 606 is harder than your basic KLF because it lacks the neural interface, but that's not a problem if you're a real pilot," Anemone answered, tossing her hair as she preened slightly. "It's high on maneuverability, which is what I like, but it lacks the firepower of some of the later models."

Momoko's eyes glittered with stars as she bounced closer and she clasped her hands together under her chin. "I've only flown one mecha before I got here and she's really a time machine so I have no idea what a 606 is but a lack of firepower is rarely a problem if you can really move and wow you're a real real mecha pilot? Like with lots of experience and your own machine?"

After he pings in!

Anakin was totally sneaking cookies when he didn't think anyone was watching him.
