As the students arrived at the Danger Shop, they would have found Bond staring at a veritable jungle of tinsel with a deeply nonplussed expression.

"There are machetes," he began, not taking his eyes off the mass of tinsel in case it suddenly came to life. "Once you've cleared away enough of a space to work in, you can settle in and revise over your notes in preparation for your final. You can work by yourselves, with a partner, or in small groups."

That last part referred to both tasks, but Bond was far too focused on the tinsel to spell that out.

The tinsel was in his hair and on his shirt but Gavin had given up trying to pick it off. It just kept coming back.

It was a bit uncomfortable, really, all that tinsel, and she ineffectually picked at it while listening to the lecture.

It was shiny and pretty and Amber liked it. Though seriously, too much in her hair was too much, so she pulled at it, making her hair go all static.
