As the students arrived at the Danger Shop, they would have found Bond staring at a veritable jungle of tinsel with a deeply nonplussed expression.

"There are machetes," he began, not taking his eyes off the mass of tinsel in case it suddenly came to life. "Once you've cleared away enough of a space to work in, you can settle in and revise over your notes in preparation for your final. You can work by yourselves, with a partner, or in small groups."

That last part referred to both tasks, but Bond was far too focused on the tinsel to spell that out.

Or just stare at the tinsel like Bond is doing.

The tinsel was in his hair and on his shirt but Gavin had given up trying to pick it off. It just kept coming back.

It was a bit uncomfortable, really, all that tinsel, and she ineffectually picked at it while listening to the lecture.

It was shiny and pretty and Amber liked it. Though seriously, too much in her hair was too much, so she pulled at it, making her hair go all static.

Liir listened and tried his best to ignore the tinsel.

Just avoid any of your classmates who start quoting from Armageddon Presently...

Gavin grabbed a machete, testing it's weight in his hand before he started hacking and slashing at the jungle. The sharpness of the blade amazed him and he just knew he'd be the one to accidentally cut a wire on an X-Wing if he took one home.

Machete in hand, Amber began to clear a path. Perhaps not with as much zest and know-how as other students, but she was working it well enough.

Turtle...might have gotten scarily into her machete-ing. There were sound effects and everything.

Hurley was very careful as he cut.

"Man, this is weird."

Liir grabbed a machete.

...and started cutting.

It was not the mad cutting of a man in a rage, nor the insane cutting of a whirling top of death. This was the irritated paperpusher who's told you. to file. your TPS reports. properly. god. damn it.

Needless to say, tinsel was getting the hell out of his way.

Alone, in groups, with a partner.

Amber was concentrating pretty hard on her notes. Or she might have just been really zoned out. More than likely it was the latter.

He's a bit less focused on the tinsel now that it's been cleared away some.

After he pings in!

Gavin was there, still marveling at the machete.

Because that's what it's here for.
