Even though what good judgment she sometimes possessed was screaming at her not to do this, Phoebe was on her way to meet Belthazor. He claimed that he could take her to Paris and she was wondering what would happen when he couldn't fulfill his promise.

She shook her head, laughing at herself that she was actually going to meet the boy who could weave such wonderfully pretty lies...but he was drop dead gorgeous so she'd forgive him when he couldn't take the two of them to Paris.

She brushed a strand of hair back behind her ear and sat down on one of the benches where she had agreed to meet up with him.

"You a poet or something?" he murmured. He hoped that didn't mean she was secretly some clingy and emotional type. She seemed like a girl who knew what she wanted and knew how to get it. This would just be a good time for both of them.
