Library [3.12]
Karal had thought today would be relatively relaxing. Yes, he had another pile of work from home, but Wednesdays were quiet, so he'd be able to work in peace.
Alas, it was not to be.
He yelped when Altra saw the fire flickering through the library doors. They bolted inside (which, yes, was very daft, but the books were in danger!). They skidded to a halt when they realised it was candles. Everywhere, candles. Every flat surface had sprouted the tiny flickering book-menaces.
"This can't be good," he muttered, and began going from shelf to shelf blowing them out.
They wouldn't stay out. By the time Karal had worked his way around the library, he was out of breath, slightly dizzy, and extremely frustrated. The candles were burning as brightly as ever. "Fine," he huffed, and set about moving them as far away from the books as he could.

First period
Second period
After a moment's thought, he and Altra began moving the candles off the bookshelves and into a spot in the middle of the floor.
Away from the books.
Third period
:Very pretty,: Altra said and yawned.
Lunch
Fourth period
Fifth period
Karal knew he should do some work, but the warm glow was irresistible. Instead, he sat cross-legged in front of it, smiling as Altra draped himself over his lap, and the two stared into the flame through a single pair of eyes.
It was peaceful and quiet, and Karal could imagine, just for a moment, that he wasn't in the library at all, but back in the Temple at Sunhame.
OOC
This means you're best to use the library sans interaction with Karal, unless you really don't mind super super slowplay. Like, the glacial slowness of slowplay.
