Gavin was setting out some cookies, chips and drinks while everyone filed in for Flight Club. Snacking was one of his favorite things to do so sharing the love seemed like a nice thing to do.

Once everyone was there, he started talking.

"Hey guys," he started. "Welcome back. Hope everyone's weekend was fun. Mine was boring but that's how it usually goes. So today, we're going to try something a little different. We're going to be flying X-Wings but the X-Wings are going to be malfunctioning. It's a problem you can run into on almost anything that flies and you just have to know how to be calm and how to assess the situation. You don't have to repair the X-Wing while you're flying it. The big thing here is to keep flying, and the problem won't prevent that, while you've got warning whistles and lights flashing at you. Don't get scared and don't let go of the controls."

He paused for any questions.

"The X-Wing's gonna shake you around a bit, toss you about like it's really malfunctioning but remember, you're safe. Just try to maintain your calm and keep flying."

With that, he gestured to the sim for the first person to take his or her turn.

Momoko remembered 'Fuzzy' from Gun Club last week, so she decided to go ahead and ask the Professor about it.

"Hi Professor Skywalker! Thanks for being the sponsor of the club and all! It's nice to be able to fly, even if it's simulated." Momoko smiled and tilted her head. "But can I ask... why you didn't tell your class the names of the baby Ewoks they had to babysit? How were they supposed to talk to them if they didn't know their names?"

"They could have asked me," he said, looking a little confused. "In class, after class, in my office hours if they were so interested. But if I do this again, I'll be sure to give them all nametags, all right?"

He paused. "And you are?"

That they hadn't asked had totally had not crossed her mind and she nodded slowly, then grinned. "I'm Momoko Akatsutsumi!" She gave a small salute. "And don't worry, I'm not in any of your actual classes. Not yet, at least. But one of my friends is, though, and we were talking about the baby and we didn't know what to call it, or if it was even a boy or a girl. We worried about the poor thing growing up with a complex and since I knew you from here, I thought I'd ask if there was a reason behind it."

"A week with us was hardly enough to give the Wokling a complex," Anakin said with a smile. "I made sure to pick a pretty hearty species to bring as exchange students."

A week at Fandom was enough to give ANYone a complex, Momoko was sure, but she was raised to trust the judgement of teachers, so she didn't voice the thought.

"Fuzzy was awfully cute, I will say. And really sweet, when not trying to get into everything. But that's what all kids do, I guess, and it was neat to see it is true about kids from other planets, too. If they were exchange students, then does that mean that some kids from here are over there?"

"Not yet," Anakin said. "There are negotiations being conducted still. The Ewoks are rebuilding from a recent war--I don't want to do anything to make their living situation worse."

"Whoah. A war?" Momoko's brain imagined Fuzzy in uniform and carrying both a gun and a flag and shouting that they had to take the hill or die trying. It did not make Fuzzy any less adorable and cuddly-looking, she decided. "Huh. And even though they just had a war, they let some of their kids leave their home world? That's amazing. Wouldn't they want to make sure they are all at home and accounted for?"

"They trust my son absolutely," Anakin said, eyes proud, "and not having to care for some of the little ones freed up older paws to help with the rebuilding effort. I certainly wouldn't have kept them longer than a week, though."

Momoko noted the pride in his eyes and nodded. "Oh! I see. Your son ~~is an Ewok~~ is like an ambassador? That's wonderful! And if it helped out the rest of their people, then I am extra glad they got to come and visit! Even if I'll never know Fuzzy's real name."

"He was there during the war I mentioned--they made him part of the tribe," Anakin explained.

Pause.

"He's not actually an Ewok."

"Wow." Momoko was duly impressed. "Does he live there, now? With them? Even though he's not an Ewok? That would be so neat! Fuzzy was awfully nice, so I can't imagine living with his family would be so bad. Although I guess with the rebuilding after a war and all, it probably isn't too much fun."

"No, Luke is off helping the rest of the galaxy," Anakin said with a proud smile. "The war was far-reaching."
