Detention [Saturday, November 8th]

"Hello, kiddies," Robin said with a small smile. Today, detention was meeting in the Danger Shop, which was equipped with three bathtubs with attached hoses to start.

Robin, for her part, was surrounded by five dogs and holding a puppy. "Today, you're going to have a fun detention. Unless you're allergic to dogs or something. But whatever. Today, you get to take care of two dogs each. I'll assign them to you, so don't worry about picking out who gets the cutest or whatever; they're all adorable, and they all are very, very well-behaved."

And as each student came in, she crossed off names on the board, too:

Toby Moriatis
Cal Stephanides
Naomi Wildman

[I'm going out to lunch with my folks, and I'll be back around one, so you'll get your puppies then! ETA: now with a more extensive OOC note.]

Awww. Well, at least Cal could see where Popcorn got his name. He grinned a little, unable to help it, as the little guy licked his hand, and then gave Sprinkles a rueful look, as if to communicate to the dog that, yeah, he didn't want to be here, either, so they'd best just better buck up and deal.

"Good to know. So what do you want us to do with them?"

"Weeeell, you get to give them baths, even though they're clean, because this is detention so doing the unfun is kind of inevitable," Robin said, ticking things off on her fingers. "And then you get to take them for a walk and play with them, and I'm going to supervise and make sure you're all doing it right."

Popcorn, for his part, bounced a bit more and yipped, because he understood words like 'walk' and 'play.'

So did Sprinkles, which was why he actually sat down and rest his head on his paws.

Cal considered the two very clearly different dogs carefully, hating how he kind of wanted to just cuddle the puppy, while he struggled to just maintain the more apathetic veneer of the dalmatian.

"Easy enough," Cal mused, truly only setting himself up for tears.
