Phys Ed: Week 8, Period 2 (Fri. 10/31)

As students filtered into the Danger Room, they'd find themselves faced with a dark room, save for some candle light. The air smelled of soothing incense and the floor was littered with soft pillows and mats. The typical locker room doors were off to one side, masked from obvious view by a decorative screen to keep the serene atmosphere of the room intact.

And then there was the large man sitting cross-legged in the back of the room. "Today we're meditating. Get your uniform and take a seat. Sit cross-legged with your hands resting on your knees, palms open toward the sky. Falling asleep means you're doing it too well." Ronon always meditated too well. Lucky for everyone there was no Teyla here to hit them with sticks.

Ino sulkily changed out of her costume and into the stupid uniform.

She left the fangs though. He was just going to have to deal with those.

Lois didn't put on a uniform. She felt that she and Professor Dex had come to some sort of an agreement a couple weeks ago.

...Or she was just being stubborn.

Francine shrugged. Whatever; she hadn't put on her costume yet anyway, and at least if she was sitting down, no one would be staring at the FANDOM HIGH emblazoned across her butt.

Dick was always happy when there was a week when he didn't have to worry about how well he might do something. Those weeks either involved movies or things he didn't need to do. But this week was different. Anyone could meditate well, assuming they could stay awake.

And Dick stayed awake!

Friday kept his eyes closed, but he was tense and the meditation just wasn't coming.

Kaylee had never been a big Buddhist, but she knew how to meditate, kinda.

Basically it was sitting quietly.

Or taking a nap, which is what she decided to do.

But meditation was certainly something she'd studied a bit back home, so this wasn't terribly difficult.
