Home Economics [Class 7] - Tuesday
"Today is our last day of cooking," Lulu began, "before we get into the other half of the class. I may revisit the topic later -- there is one specific cooking topic I wanted to cover that I've not yet done -- but for the most part, next week we'll be into clothing and textiles.
"Which means," Lulu said, "that today you have your midterm. You have all the materials you could possibly need, and various recipe books. Have at, and cook something. Anything. Your midterm grade will be dependant on both the complexity of the dish you decide to make, and how well it is executed."
[OCD up!]

Re: The Midterm!
He'd decided to try out a chicken soup recipe. He was inspired by his roomie's bout of nasty flu over the weekend.
It wasn't the most flavorful soup out there, and the noodles were kind of mushy, but it was definitely edible.
