Achievements in Engineering #5, Period 2 Monday

"We're continuing our discussion from last week on how automobiles and highways improved travel," said Mike, who was feeling a little twitchy without his morning coffee. "Just out of curiosity, how would you improve cars and highways? Or, what could hypothetically happen in the future to change the way we travel?" asked Mike. With so many kids from the future, he was looking forward to hearing their answers.

"Well where I'm from no one drives cars or those type of vehicles anymore," Naomi said, "if its Earth based travel the shuttle craft is the popular choice, but that's how it turned out in my future timeline, I don't know if the same thing will happen here,"

"Definitely hovercars," Jen agreed. "We still have vehicles with wheels due to incredibly low budgets, but atmospheric flight is a lot more common."

Mike shook his head. "It's a shame that with all the advances that they make, they can't get rid of traffic jams," he said.
