Student Council (Friday, lunch)

Nathan had set up for Student Council with a lunch of pizza. He was all about the health food.

"Congratulations to all of you for winning," Nathan said. "Welcome to your first student Council meeting. We have a few orders of business that need to be taken care of today. The first is electing a president from one of our two seniors. Next you'll need to start brainstorming what you want to do for Homecoming, which will be the weekend of October 11th. We can also hit on anything anyone else would like to suggest.

"Let's get started."

"That'd definitely be different," she said, nodding a bit. And giggling. "Which would be interesting. Oh! We could maybe have a set up for fake duels? Like, instead of you know, real guns have water guns or something at 'high noon'? As an attraction, if people wanted to sign up for it."

Laughing, Lee said, "I like that. I think we've had jousts before but not fake duels. I'd say see if we can get some horses too and have a place to ride them."

"We've got the stable, that should hold a few, though I'm not sure how many it's built for," she mused, "but there's room, I'd think for at least a couple. Maybe trail rides through the preserve, or the woods?"

"Romantic," Lee said and laughed. "And smelly if the horses, you know. But, it'd be a nice little relaxing event!"

"It'd be good for people who want to get away from all the people," she mused, even though Ino? Was so not with the understanding people who thought like that. She blamed the fact that she had a lot of friends who didn't like people on that little consideration.
