Basics of Alchemy - Fourth Class - Period Five - Monday, 9/22

A rather harried Abby Irene was at the front of the class, setting up some video equipment. Most specifically, she was making sure that the television and DVD player were hooked up properly.

"Good morning, class," she greeted them as they made their way in.

"My apologies for today, but as I spent most of the last week as a dog," and one joke about bitches and she would not be held accountable, for goodness sake, "we'll be watching a short film on alchemy and I'll ask you to look over this article on a rather famous female alchemist for homework."

Andrew rolled his eyes, still smiling.

Hardly. I just couldn't sleep. It was the truth, minus the details.

He thought it over, and added:

Oh, I don't know. Some mornings I think starting over from scratch wouldn't be so bad. He passed the note back.

Tony tapped his pen against his lips and considered this. He could think of a few things he'd like to forget. But Arra'd tried that memory wipe thing on him this summer and he was still a little annoyed at her for it.

And lose my memory of seeing all the King of the Bracelets movies on their opening nights? Nah. Not worth it. He passed the note back to Andrew and grinned at him.

Andrew laughed into the back of his hand. You make an excellent point. Maybe I just need to add a few new happy memories. Any suggestions?

You like vampire detective stuff? Tony wrote. The show I worked on this summer, Darkest Night, premieres Wednesday. Thinking of having a viewing party.
