Library [9.16]

Anemone was very disappointed in the lack of kitten-books today, not that Gulliver minded at all.

To compensate for the lack of fuzzy-friends, she spread her art supplies out all over the floor and set to work drawing pictures of some of the cuter kittens she had encountered last week.  Maybe she could get the pictures to come to life...

The Fandom High Library was open.  Beware the invasion of the colored pencils.

Miss Elizabeth Bennet finally found herself in the school's library, glancing around curiously at all of the shelves.

She stopped by the edge of Anemone's artwork, tilting her head to take it in.

"Good day, Miss Anemone," she said, dipping her head. Somehow, when they were her charges, it seemed appropriate to call them by their first names, but it felt presumptuous outside the classroom. "I was hoping that you might, though I should hate to impose, or keep you from your art."

"Anything," Eliza laughed. "Which helps neither of us. I fear I'm teaching literature and I simply don't know enough of it. My students were kind enough to contribute many of their own favorite authors, so I took care to write a list. But I've no real idea where to start."

"I'm afraid I'm not certain of the topics," Elizabeth said, pulling out her list and looking at it again. "I only have author names, and many of these appear to be surnames. Woolf. Beckett. Stevenson. Joyce. F. Scott Fitzgerald, that one's a full name, and Agatha Christie, as well. T. S. Eliot, I suppose that's three-quarters of a name, since he's only supplying his initials?"

It was a rather long list.

"Is it from author by there?" Eliza asked, glancing down the rows.

She eyed the card catalog with interest. "So I could research ... anything that occurs to me, and this would tell me where to find books on the subject?"

That sounded terribly useful.
