Welcome to the Fandom High Homecoming Carnival ~~which we're pretty much forced to do because this school has no legit sports teams to have a pep rally for, you losers~~!

Alright, so we've got a TON of activities planned for you all today. We've got a dunk tank, a kissing booth, and, well, a big and shiny 'Wheel of Morality' that I'm not quite sure what to do with, but feel free to play with it. There's also carnival food set ups- so go eat cotton candy and ice cream. Well, as much as you can and still fit into your outfits tonight. ~~And, because some students were concerned, there are no clowns at the carnival besides those that we see around school every day. I don't think I'm allowed to ban students, sorry~~

And, of course, all of this is leading up to the first-ever Fandom High Homecoming Dance! Make sure you voted for King and Queen! ~~And by that I mean for me and Rover~~

(OOC Note- The posts are up now. Obviously, this takes place in the afternoon when you don't have classes, before the dance. So, have some fun, kiss and dunk some poor individuals, and then head over to the dance. This is set up similarly to the amazing debate yesterday, and I'm sure we can keep it just as organized today.)

John flips his hair out of his face and mock frowns at Parker.

"You'd really do this to me? I thought we'd grown so close over the last few weeks, Parker. I mean, I almost know your first name!"

Parker hasn't stopped juggling the softball. "John-Boy, you told me to flash Lee Adama last night. *Lee*. *Adama*. While he was in a hormonal haze. I could've died! Thrace could've ripped my throat out! You don't taunt a Thrace like that, they're dangerous in the wild! And you wanted me to risk that!"

John laughs and then realizes it's the worst thing he could've done. "Hey, it seemed like a good idea at the time!"

Parker smirks with triumph. "Wow. Just what I was going to say." And throws the ball like she's going for the gold medal.

The ball strikes the target and sends John flailing off the platform and into the cold water.

Knowing Parker's out there, he shoots up, attempting splash and spray. "I think we may have to break up for this little incident, Parker," he says with a grin.

Parker dances back, remembering this trick from Logan Echolls' party their first weekend at school. She's still chortling. "Aw, no, and just when the fans said we were going to make babies!" she protests.

John keeps laughing. "Us? Make babies? Could you imagine? They'd be mean as hell (your genes) with a sarcastic wit (my genes). I think the poor girl or boy would confuse herself with her varying personalities," John answers. "Still, since you're not in the dunk tank, there has to be a way to pay you back..."

Parker is still chuckling evilly. "Poor, mean, crazy babies," she mourns. "Oh well. Back to the gene pool."

Her eyes widen. "Crichton, what are you--"

John, thinking fast on his feet, has used his wet t-shirt as a bucket of sorts and tosses the water he's collected out and up, hoping to hit Parker with the splash.

"AAAAAccckkkk!"

Parker gets hit *right* in the face, making her splutter and cough. "CRICHTON! Augh! Damnit." She wipes her face off, and chortles again.

"You are the splashee! Not the splasher! God, you're so defective." She narrows her eyes. "Get back up there, I want another shot at you, John-Boy."

"Defective? I resemble that remark," he says and climbs back onto the platform. "All right, but this is gonna cost you that dance I was saving for you tonight."

He doesn't stop grinning at her.

"Ohh, noooos!" Parker moans. "Dunk Crichton. Dance with Crichton. Dunk Cricton. Dance with Crichton." She see-saws her hands, then the scales tip, and she throws.

"DUNK CRICHTON!"

She backs off a good bit after she throws the ball.

John falls into the water again, attempting to splash. He comes up spluttering and spitting. "Does this mean we're not getting married, honey?"

Parker is laughing too hard to answer for a minute.

"Consider this the breaking of the engagement, John-Boy." She snorts. "Heh. Tell Sun I'll find another sea urchin, somewhere!"

John hits the water with his arm. "Well, darn it. I was so looking forward to becoming a Parker. Can I at least get the ring back?"

Parker loses it. "Are you kidding?"

_{[ooc: As does her mun. *chortling*]}

John draws his face into a serious look. "That ring cost me 25 cents and ten minutes of time. If I don't get to be John Parker, I want it back. And I want the estate in Maui," John says and he can't help the smile that slips out.

"My people will be calling your people. The estate is negotiable. The ring is not." Parker's voice trembles with fake-tears. "It's all I have to remember our brief interlude of joy, Crichton. How can you be so cruel!"

Then she cracks up again, and starts to walk away. "See you at the dance! I gotta get ready!"
