Official Homecoming Carnival Post

Welcome to the Fandom High Homecoming Carnival which we're pretty much forced to do because this school has no legit sports teams to have a pep rally for, you losers!

Alright, so we've got a TON of activities planned for you all today. We've got a dunk tank, a kissing booth, and, well, a big and shiny 'Wheel of Morality' that I'm not quite sure what to do with, but feel free to play with it. There's also carnival food set ups- so go eat cotton candy and ice cream. Well, as much as you can and still fit into your outfits tonight. And, because some students were concerned, there are no clowns at the carnival besides those that we see around school every day. I don't think I'm allowed to ban students, sorry

And, of course, all of this is leading up to the first-ever Fandom High Homecoming Dance! Make sure you voted for King and Queen! And by that I mean for me and Rover

(OOC Note- The posts are up now. Obviously, this takes place in the afternoon when you don't have classes, before the dance. So, have some fun, kiss and dunk some poor individuals, and then head over to the dance. This is set up similarly to the amazing debate yesterday, and I'm sure we can keep it just as organized today.)

Tick is sitting on the seat in the tank, wearing one of those ridiculous red-and-white striped unitard swimsuits and a pair of swim goggles... over his costume. Dunking him might feel keen.

John climbs up onto the small platform, dressed in shorts and a t-shirt.

"Come and try, kiddies. I bet your aim sucks!"

::walks up dressed like the bastard child of Jay and Silent Bob (http://www.livejournal.com/users/bluemanoncampus/10519.html#comments)::

::spins the Wheel and grins when he hears the music that plays::

Wheel of Morality
Turn, turn, turn
Tell us the lesson
That we should learn.

And today's lesson is...

"Always look both ways before crossing the street. But you'll still miss the anvil from above."

::laughs at the lesson::

Kiki stares at it a moment, then reaches up and grabs the handle.

As the Wheel spins, a curious song comes out of it that sounds something like:

Wheel of Morality, turn, turn, turn,
Tell us the lesson we should learn!

With a chugga-chugga-chug noise, the Wheel spits out a slip of paper from a slot to the side. Kiki takes it and smooths out the curled edges

"Beware of grapes with large wooden mallets," she reads. "Isn't that the truth."

Phoebe steps up to the plate. She's been a softball player most of her life. She focuses and lets the ball fly.

Maia stands next to her, she is not sure of the whole story behind Phoebe wanting to get this guy but hey, its all in good fun. Maia watches the ball fly out of Phoebe's hand.

*SPLOOSH*

Phoebe's aim is better then he thinks and he's sent falling into the water. The water is COLD.

John surfaces and flicks the water everywhere.

"Nice shot," he says with a shiver.

Phoebe smiles. "Softball pitcher for six years. It's really great of you to volunteer for this, John."
