Welcome to the Fandom High Homecoming Carnival ~~which we're pretty much forced to do because this school has no legit sports teams to have a pep rally for, you losers~~!

Alright, so we've got a TON of activities planned for you all today. We've got a dunk tank, a kissing booth, and, well, a big and shiny 'Wheel of Morality' that I'm not quite sure what to do with, but feel free to play with it. There's also carnival food set ups- so go eat cotton candy and ice cream. Well, as much as you can and still fit into your outfits tonight. ~~And, because some students were concerned, there are no clowns at the carnival besides those that we see around school every day. I don't think I'm allowed to ban students, sorry~~

And, of course, all of this is leading up to the first-ever Fandom High Homecoming Dance! Make sure you voted for King and Queen! ~~And by that I mean for me and Rover~~

(OOC Note- The posts are up now. Obviously, this takes place in the afternoon when you don't have classes, before the dance. So, have some fun, kiss and dunk some poor individuals, and then head over to the dance. This is set up similarly to the amazing debate yesterday, and I'm sure we can keep it just as organized today.)

Barbossa carefully removed his hat and boots before climbing into the tank. They'd cost two months wages--it'd be a shame to have them ruined before the dance.

He positioned himself on the wooden lever and wondered what self-respecting pirate would actually sign up to walk the plank. Fall off the plank. Whatever.

Finally ready, he started abusing everyone in sight. "Ye cross-eyed thin-skinned landlubbers! T'ain't a one among ye that kin sink this pirate!"

Then he waited.

John takes a break from his own dunking to take a turn at Barbossa.

"This is for all those subtle gay jokes," John says with a broad grin and heaves the ball towards the target.

"~~I be speakin' fluent subtext, aye.~~ That be fair," Barbossa said before falling into the tank with a giant splash.

Drowned rat is not a good look for him.

Faith giggled at the wet pirate. "Can I get a turn?" she said, grabbing a ball.

Barbossa hauled himself back onto the platform. "If ye must. I demand a kiss out of ye at yer booth for it, though."

He smiled. "Give it yer best shot, wench."

Faith grinned. "Of course."

She threw the ball hard, straight at the target.

"Damn ye, ye sly vix-"

Barbossa dropped from his perch with another splash.

Faith laughed, which turned into a bit of an "AH!" as she got splashed with some of the water.

"Takes a pirate to drop a pirate," Han comments, stepping up and picking up a ball. This will be a cakewalk for smeone who stands on his head and plays ringtoss, drunk.

"Ye be another pirate? As a professional courtesy, I ask ye not t'be takin' the easy way of walkin' up and pushin' the button." Barbossa smiled. "Which would be me own way of playin' o'course."

"Not a worry, my nightly friend of the airwaves. I'm Han, who you keep talking so much about. Let's see how fast you talk witna face full of water."

He takes steady aim and throws. Hard.

Sploosh.

Barbossa came up for air. "It be a pleasure t'see ye in person, after talkin' about ye fer so long."

"We got art class together." Han shrugged. "Always nice to meet a fan."

He wandered on.

Cameron saunters over, trying to avoid hovering around a certain booth. "Yo, Barbossa. How's the dunking going?"

"People at this school be havin' altogether too accurate an aim," he grumbled, pulling himself back onto his perch. "I'm not sure I be dried out in time t'pick up me lovely date fer this evenin'."

"Or they made the targets too large," Cameron suggested. "Who are you taking?"

"That could be it." Barbossa looked at the target. "I could sight a cannon ball off o' this thing! Definitely too large."

He smiled. "I be takin' the lovely Callisto to the dance. And ye?" He looked closely at the man in front of him. "Be ye Cam or Crichton?"

"Callisto? Wow, let me know how that goes." He chuckles. "I'm Cam~~, I'm less pudgy. I'll be going with Kara."~~

"We be set up by Kawalsky, so if it be goin' badly, he'll be the first t'hear of it." He smiled. "Then the rest of the school, as I be the Pirate o' the Airwaves, after all."

"It be nice t'finally meet ye, Cam. Especially nice since ye be the first person today who hasn't been tryin' t'dunk me."

"You know, I really wouldn't do that radio thing. Callisto is a girl you don't want to mess with, trust me."

He grins, "Well, you are kinda in the right seat to be dunked..."

*stands in front of the tank tossing the ball up and catching it one hand... eventually juggling three of them... just starting at Barbosa and debating...*

Barbossa watched him. "Ye don't look like the type t'be able to hit the broad side of one of Her Majesty's Fleet, so ye might as well try and miss."

He looked down at what he was wearing. "It's not like I kin be gettin' any wetter either way."

*catches two of the three balls he's been juggling in one hand and fires off the third one at the target*

Her majesty must have an awfully small fleet!

"What de ye know, I could get wetter." Barbossa hauled himself out of the water again.

"Nice shot, matey."

*grins*
