Welcome to the Fandom High Homecoming Carnival ~~which we're pretty much forced to do because this school has no legit sports teams to have a pep rally for, you losers~~!

Alright, so we've got a TON of activities planned for you all today. We've got a dunk tank, a kissing booth, and, well, a big and shiny 'Wheel of Morality' that I'm not quite sure what to do with, but feel free to play with it. There's also carnival food set ups- so go eat cotton candy and ice cream. Well, as much as you can and still fit into your outfits tonight. ~~And, because some students were concerned, there are no clowns at the carnival besides those that we see around school every day. I don't think I'm allowed to ban students, sorry~~

And, of course, all of this is leading up to the first-ever Fandom High Homecoming Dance! Make sure you voted for King and Queen! ~~And by that I mean for me and Rover~~

(OOC Note- The posts are up now. Obviously, this takes place in the afternoon when you don't have classes, before the dance. So, have some fun, kiss and dunk some poor individuals, and then head over to the dance. This is set up similarly to the amazing debate yesterday, and I'm sure we can keep it just as organized today.)

Marty shows up tossing a ball in the air.

"Hey Rory!"

*Flares Nostrils*

"How about we say.... Three dunks and you don't have to eat the sandwich?"

::sneaks up behind Marty::

...sandwich?

"It's from the movie 'The Breakfast Club'. Angela and I are double dating with Logan and Rory formally dressed as characters from the movie. Rory is going as Allison and in the movie the character ate a sandwich made of Captain Crunch cereal and Pixie stix and I'm giving her a chance to get out of eating it," Marty says realizing that Cally may not be up on the whole 80's pop culture thing. Or the movie for that matter.

Huh.

::wonders what Captain Crunch and Pixie Stix are::

I guess I'll just have to see the movie sometime.

::eyes over at Rory::

Sink her real good, huh? ::giggle::

"Oh... I'm honor bound now."

*Marty sees the look of confusion on Cally's face and reminds himself to introduce her to pixie stix and Captain Crunch cereal sometime.*

"YES!" Rory cries, throwing her arms in the air happily. "DEAL!"

Marty flares his nostrils "Bender Style" and throws the ball at the target.

The ball hits the target squarely, and Rory squeals as she falls into the tank.

As she climbs out, she gasps, "Okay, three from you, or three total?"

Another nostril flare.

"Three from me Gilmore!" Mary yells as he throws another ball at the target.

Rory falls in again.

"How do you even do that?" she gasps. "The nostrils, I mean. Your nose isn't even that big. It shouldn't be possible."

"Are you mocking the trademarked "Bender Nostril Flare"? Because I've got a ton of quarters and no shortage of balls here Gilmore."

Marty throws another ball at the target.

After falling in for a third time, Rory emerges with her hair completely covering her face. She parts it, and smiles at Marty.

"No, I would never mock the Bender Nostril Flare," she says almost reverently, flipping her hair back so that it was at least off her face. "I'm amazed. Truly."

Marty tosses the ball a couple of times in the air.

"You sure? I'd hate to be mocked. You know that right?"

*nostril flare*

"Tell you what... If I make this shot you don't have to wear the black gooky eye-makeup."

"Oh, I've already worked out how that can work in my favor," she says, waving a hand dismissively. "Let's say that if you make this shot - I don't even have to carry the sandwich."

Marty grins and deliberately throws the ball in a wide curve missing the target.

"Sorry Gilmore. Guess you'll have to find a way to accessorize with it."

"Damn it! You did that on purpose!" she yells, laughing.

"But...fine. I'll figure it out. If I can pull off carrying around a bright pink, feathered and sequined hammer for a day, a nasty sandwich like that should be a breeze," she says, lounging slightly on her bench, and crossing her ankles languidly.

Marty laughs and admires the the use of the word "languidly"

[OOC: The Old Firm opened up a post for us. Don't know if Rory and Angela want to do a pre-hc dress up thing.

[ooc: Yeah, I saw it, but I haven't heard from Logan yet. As soon as I know whether he pulled a similar stunt vis-a-vis the flowers, I'm throwing Rory into Angela's room so they can get ready - and so that it'll be easier for the guys to locate them.]
