After the handwavey announcement that class was happening in the Danger Zone Room Shop, Deadpool was there. Laying in wait for his new class to arrive.

Like a big cat. A puma, if you will.

A very red and slightly bored puma.

"Good morning my intrepid class of chef wannabes!" Not that he had much, or any talent there himself. "This is a class on cooking in a way that you can both survive and eat. A great concept, right? No more microwaving that questionable bit of Chinese food from a week ago that kinda looks different than when you first bought it, and you think my be becoming sentient."

Not that that had ever happened to him or anything.

"--and then you eat it and you have the weirdest damn dreams and the vague idea that your lower intestine are trying to kill you with a weetiny angry mob that's stabbing it's way out," He continued cheerfully.

After a moment of glaring at his stomach area, Deadpool shook his head. "Nevermind that! First day of class means I don't have to plan things for you and you have to tell me about yourselves, even though I don't really care. So... make things up! It'll be so much more fun for us all."

He pointed at the nearest student. "Name, age, favorite food and... the last time you had food poisoning. And make it interesting!"

The teacher was...a little...okay, a lot weird but the subject was enough to make Ned not focus his complete attention on the weird teacher.

It would be nice if John had remembered what Deadpool was like before signing up for his class. He wondered if anyone else was feeling that way as he listened to talk of digestion.

Okay, with an outfit like that, there was a very high chance that this teacher was either a supervillian of some description, or an insane cosplayer, and frankly, Wendy wasn't sure which was the worse option.

Wendy watched Deadpool warily in case he uttered the words 'sheer', 'elegance', or 'simplicity'.

Dōjima wasn't exactly surprised that this class seemed to be just as nonsensical as her modeling one, but at least it would prove entertaining. Hopefully.

Shikamaru came in late, found a place in the back where he'd be less noticeable, and promptly started to nap while standing up.

He was very, very talented at napping.

Brooke found herself staring, wondering if it didn't get hot under the costume all the time. Apparently she'd decided to equate Deadpool with one of those people who pretended to be a cartoon duck at places usually referred to as the happpiest on Earth.

"Ned, I'm a senior, I just got here at the beginning of the summer," he started, "and my favorite food to make is any kind of pie. My favorite food to eat is probably ice cream. The last time I had food poisoning was when I was nine."

The last time he'd never checked to make sure he hadn't killed a fruit accidentally before baking with it.

"I'm John, 17 and a senior," he smiled, thrilled to play the introduction game, really. "I don't like cooking, but I can make pasta and sandwiches. Preferably turkey. Oh, and cereal."

"I'm Hurley," he introduced. "I'm, like, a junior? I'm not a big cook or anything. I worked at a Mr. Cluck's this summer, though. So I mean, if it involves a deep fryer I'm probably good."

"I'm Wendy, a senior, and I don't think you can go wrong with a chilli cheese dog," Wendy said, going for the easy option in case they were going to have to make it or something. "Last time I had food poisoning was when my friend Lacey got hold of some bad tofu." Which she was pretty sure had been sentient.

"Wes Collins, I'm a sophomore," Wes introduces himself. "My favorite food is, um- pizza?" he shrugs. It was true, after all, even if it was mostly because it was the kind of food his father didn't let him order all that often. "The last time I had food poisoning was when I was eight. I don't remember what it was, just that it was bad enough that my father actually stayed home from work the next day."

"My name," Cal said, "is Muhammad Ali, I'm sixty-seven, my favorite food is prune juice," thank you, Worf, "and I've never had food poisoning. I've spent my entire life building up an immunity to food poisoning."

...What? The guy in the crazy outfit said make something up. So he did.

When Shikamaru's turn came up he was... asleep. Thus he did not realize it was his turn.

Maybe someone would "help" him with that.

"Dōjima, senior, old enough to know better, and I have a weakness for Mexican food," she said cheerfully. "I don't think I've ever actually had food poisoning, and the extent of my cooking is microwave noodles."

Not quite true, she could usually manage basic sandwiches, but not without some sort of damage to either herself or her surroundings.
