And over here was another section of tables and chairs, still close to the food so no one accidentally starved while trying to avoid the masses.

Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
Clearly, socializing was hard.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
"I could come up if you'd rather," she suggested.
Grinning. No, he wasn't getting rid of her that easily.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
If he shuffled any more, it would break clean off.
"Don't you have some newbies to pester, or something," he ventured. "I'm sure there are new students out there who are almost as antisocial as I am."
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
Ino might've lost track of how many guys she'd gotten shirtless today.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
He didn't mean to be such a grumpypants. Really. It was just the way he was made.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
Well. Really. She probably would've gone up there at some point anyway.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
"And what do you figure you're going to do while you're up here?"
He was also afraid of the answer, really.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
"Guess!"
Be afraid Warren.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
Very afraid.
"If I guess, I'll just end up giving you ideas," he pointed out. "The last thing I need is to be annoyed by a ninja with ideas."
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
Her smile, if anything, got even sunnier as Ino started carefully making her way across his branch. It was a good thing that she was so light.
"I have lots of ideas already," Ino informed him.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
A gamble, indeed.
Warren stayed put, eying her warily.
"Dare I ask?"
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
Because now he had a determined Ino sitting down near him and attempting to throw her arms around him in a hug.
As you do.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
'I will not burst into flame and kill Ino. I will not burst into flame and kill Ino. I will not burst into flame and kill Ino.'
"Don't make me burst into flame and kill you," he grumped. Because sometimes, the mantra just didn't work.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
"You wouldn't," she said impishly. "You're better than that."
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
"Are you so sure about that?"
... He really was better than that. Dammit.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
"If you keep squirming you're going to knock us out of the tree," she pointed out.
Awww. He was at a loss for biting words! Clearly the hug thing was working. "And yes, I seriously am." See her radiating confidence.
[And sleep time for me now zomg! SP good?]
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
"What would it take to get you to let go of me?"
Warren was willing to bargain, here. Really.
To a point.
[SP is love!]
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
Really. Very Very Seriously.
"Your shirt!" See how innocent she was? Terribly innocent.
Honest!
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
He was fond of being fully clothed. Really.
"Try again."
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
Warren's stubbornness was, in this case, certainly not helping his mood.
... Granted, he could leave the clothing up the tree.
Re: More General Mingling (Fall 2008)
A beat.
"And it's tradition."
