"You know him well?" Peter asked. Hey, if he was being stalked by some kind of crazed bus driver - or crazed person of any profession, really - Peter wanted to know as much as possible.

"Only from family legend," Ben replied. "He's supposed to be dead."

"Your family has legends about bus drivers?" Peter asked.

"Only this one," Ben said. "At home he didn't drive buses."

He blew up planets.

"He was a pretty famous warrior." Ben shrugged. "I don't really understand the bus thing."

"Post-Traumatic Stress?" Peter guessed. Hey, Arthur had served in a war. It wasn't unheard of.

Ben thought about it, then nodded. "It makes sense. There was a lot of trauma."

Maybe this guy didn't even turn to the dark side. Maybe he just...drove buses. And taught ethics.

"He may be more comfortable driving buses then," Peter said. "Maybe it helps to make him feel grounded."

"It would explain why he drove fast enough to almost kill us, too," Ben mused.

"He may not have even realized he was doing it," Peter said. "Maybe he was instinctively trying to avoid attacks that weren't there."
