"Well, I thought about going with a bikini, but in the end I did the cropped since it doesn't cover a whole lot," said Hoshi, tugging at the chopped-off hem of her shirt. If Ichigo looked carefully, he might see something pink and sparkly in Hoshi's belly button.

"And on one put me up to it, really. The piercing was my idea. I just brought Ronan along for moral support," she added.

He did notice which was why he was all of a sudden looking up at the trees. Nice trees. "That's nice." He had no idea what it was with girls today.

"As much as you can look forward to school," he said. "What about you? Do you have a lot of classes?"

"Just two. I could probably do more but my mun would get overwhelmed I also have a job. And I wanted to start up the martial arts club again since the guy who ran it last spring graduated," explained Hoshi.

"I just have three. It seems weird not having classes the whole day," he admitted.

"I didn't really attend a normal school before coming here, so having the extra time outside class is just fine," said Hoshi.

"There's that, yes," said Hoshi. "I also wanted to work some more on my fighting skills. I've gotten better at martial arts in practice, but I want to be sure I can take care of myself the next time something weird comes along."

"That's always good to keep up with. My karate's useful from time to time," he said. It hadn't been that much lately, but in general it was.
