Liir was still around, though at the edges of the gathering now.

He had, in an odd fit of productiveness, gone off and fetched a number of things before settling under a tree. There were now a number of the boxes of cookies he had yet to get rid of, several jars of lemonade, and a couple of books. After all, some people might be hungry but not want to brave the craziness of the tables.

Hermits unite indeed.
