"Yes. There is always something to learn, especially when you are somewhere new and different," he replied.

Lola nodded slowly. "I agree. That is why I'm here. You are from somewhere different?"

"From another planet, very far away from here," he said. "Are you from Earth?"

Lola nodded. "Ja. I'm from Germany."

"Welcome to both Fandom and the United States," he chirped. "I only came here a few years ago, and I'm finding much I don't know about this place."

"About Fandom? The United States? Or about Earth?"

"All three! Sorry, to be specific, I came to Earth several years ago," he said. "Fandom has only been since the beginning of the summer."

"Then you are a little bit new, too." Lola nodded. "That is good to know."
