Underwater Basketweaving as a Metaphor for Organising Your Life -- Class 7, Period 2 [Tuesday]
“Good morning class,” Juli said mildly, as she and Lulu called the class to order. “Today’s shall be a busy one, I’m afraid.”
They were at the beach, and though Juli had not come in her swimsuit, the children had still been ordered to, and Lulu was wearing hers. There were basket-making rushes, reeds, and frames laid out neatly on tables just off to one side. She spared them a glance before beginning to talk again.
“Today you will each be attempting, under our supervision," Lulu said, "to, yes, weave a basket underwater. You will need all of the skills that have been covered so far in this workshop. Yes, this exercise is rated rather more on your willingness to try, and determination in attempting to combine all of the skills together, than how well you actually manage to weave a basket underwater, but we'd like you to try anyway.”
Juli smiled. “After your attempts you are all required to answer a question. Multi-tasking is an incredibly vital skill in the world that you live in today—each and everyone of you have spent the last weeks learning various skills and how to use them at the same time. How, then, would you say you can apply the act of combining skills and doing more than one thing at once outside of this class, and further on into your life?”
“First though, basket weaving.”
As Juli and Lulu's students finished up their class discussion, Lulu smiled at them. "And now," she said, "for any of you who don't have to run off to another workshop, we invite you to stay around and join us for... a bit of a beach party."
[Wait for the OCD is up!]

"A rock?" She had heard of the other kid that had been turned into a rock before, but really... "Are rocks the new animal then?"
Re: Talk to Lulu or Juli
She closed her eyes and prayed that she didn't inquire as to what about Jeff's nature would lead to that particular transformation.
Re: Talk to Lulu or Juli
Juli did not particularly want to know how a rock equated to Jeff.
