"It's come to my attention that I've been ignoring the mail half of the modeling world with all this talk of dresses and make up and heels and humiliating turns on the catwalk..." Deadpool started. "So today is all about male models."

A beat.

"Something that I would assume is mythical if my T.A. wasn't one."

It was true. The only ones on TV were all on Bravo and none of them won.

"So today we're watching a movie to give you guys a better idea of what kind of life they lead. A documentary of sorts. Pay special attention to the really really ridiculously good looking one."

Romeo settled into his seat, rabbit on his lap so she could see the movie, and watched contentedly.

He wished he had popcorn.

"Don't you know a foamy latte makes me farty and bloated?!"

I just watched this movie on Saturday and goddammit I'm going to watch it again. After I get home from watching The Dark Knight for the 800th time, of course.

It's summer vacation, I'm allowed to spend my days doing these things.

Romeo warily approached Deadpool after class. "Excuse me, I thought you might like to know Yurika Dojima is in class, she's just, well..." he held up the rabbit. "This is her."

Dojima wiggled her ears at him. Hi! Did he want to pet her? And wouldn't rabbits make an excellent runway accessory?

Chuck loved this movie. He leaned his head against his arms and actually stayed awake during the movie.

Seely came by after class, carrying Aravis, who was glaring at him because this really was beneath her dignity.

"Professor? I thought you should know why Aravis missed class," he said.

Romeo shot Seely a look. "You too?" he asked, holding up the rabbit to indicate what he meant.

Seely nodded. "Happened to Karal as well," he said. "Evey's a deer."

Aravis waved a hello to the rabbit with one paw.

"And Cal's a hyena," Romeo said. "I think this counts as an epidemic."

Dojima decided the big cat probably didn't want to eat her, and twitched her nose in return. They could play chase!

Aravis perked up and started squirming in Seely's grip, pretensions of dignity forgotten.

"Maybe there's something in the water," Seely said, letting Aravis down.

"Maybe it was Australia," Romeo theorized. "The bugs we could see were odd enough, who knows what we could not see?"

He gently set a very squirmy Dojima down. "If you get eaten, it is your own fault," he warned her. She wiggled her nose, as if to tell him not to be silly.

"Could have been," Seely agreed. "Which means that hopefully they'll start turning back soon. Good thing Karal didn't get attacked by that spider yesterday, or who knows what he would have turned into."

Aravis flicked her tail disdainfully at Romeo, as if she would ever do anything as uncouth as eat a classmate, before bounding towards Dojima.

"A spider priest," Romeo gloomily intoned. "A blind spider priest, even. I think that's a horror movie, right there."

He rubbed the back of his neck. "At least no one's ever gotten stuck." A beat. "have they?"

Dojima tossed a teasing glance at the leopard cub over her shoulder, then started bounding and zig-zagging through the classroom as fast as her wee bunny legs could carry her.

Seely shuddered. "Night of the Unliving Blind Spider Priests, sounds like one of those real old ones in black and white."

"I've never heard of getting stuck," he said. "Repeat occurrences, sure, but not getting stuck."

Aravis took off after Dojima, doing her best to catch with the bunny. Which might have been slightly more effective if she was a cheetah rather than a leopard.

"With the hunchbacked assistant lurching around," Romeo agreed, then turned his head just slightly to watch their girlfriends play.

"So I just have to wait for it to wear off," he said. "At least she seems happy."

"And we wouldn't even need to blow make-up money on that, since there's one in town," Seely said, and nodded. "Yeah, nothing worse than a cranky animal girlfriend. Especially one with claws."

Blair Waldorf

Blair watched with amusement. She knew quite a few people like this.
